You and I are masking wizards. Awesome work. I just did this to mine (similar looking pictures in my build thread).

Apparently neither of us have anything better to do on our weekends, haha! Your truck is looking great...are you still in that venture with Mike @ stanceworks?

Weekends are indeed for unnecessary amounts of detail work that no one will every notice.

Yea, Protomachine is doing well. I don't make it down to the shop nearly as much as I'd like (especially nowadays).

Wrapped up the knuckles and took it out for a drive in 4wd to get everything moving. Had fun using the bearing packer, made the process so refined. Also put in a new parking brake cable and bushings for it, feels much nicer now. Truck drove well, almost ready for SAS.

Looks great Nate!

Those tie rods need brightening next

yea I think I’ll yank em off for a coat of paint. It makes me cringe :(

Looks so damn good, dude. What kind of paint are you using? Assuming you just replaced with OE calipers?

Exactly, calipers are reman from Toyota. Paint is VHT epoxy. It’s not bad for over the counter locally. My only wish is that I could’ve blasted the parts instead of scrub. Finish would be much smoother, but alas, only I’ll be the one that knows.

Alright so I told myself I wouldn't rebuild knuckles until they dripped grease on driveway. I saw a couple baby drips and figure its best to do it before SAS4. So I jumped into it and currently watching the paint dry and waiting on calipers to show up. Nothing new here. Marlin seals, rebuild kit from @cruiseroutfit misc new bits from Toyota and extended brake lines. And a lot of masking.

Outstanding work. Thank you for posting the pics of the knuckles taped up. This is on the list now that I have my old man here for a week or so to help out.

Cheers, James

I'm still bummed you didn't cave a rocker or 1/4 panel in
