I know where you can store it Nate :)

You already know I'm pondering that.

Man, say it isn't so. This has been one of the more informative threads on here. Sorry to see it end. Been a nice adventure to follow along with. Thanks for it all. Congrats on the 40 purchase. Lucky truck. That one is now in good hands. GL.
I really appreciate that! Getting into the 60 smacked me in the face with how comfortable, smooth and quiet it really is. Even with the 35s, the h55 and 2f felt so great to me.
I don't like the idea of you selling it. Who out there deserves that 60 more than you? Thanks for sharing the journey and having a 40 is a great thing. Wish I could buy it.
Honest answer, no one else is as deserving as I it feels. Though I'd like to hope I can find the right buyer.

Absolutely! I got issues with cars, girls and dogs. I love the good ones, but the ones that are mine I tend to stick with them even to my detriment. I've had great luck with dogs, fair luck with cars, and...
Well... Then there are girls....
Anyhow, I hope you make out fair and the person who buys it has your passion.

So I'm quite a newbie to both this site and cruiser ownership. I was looking for some info on switching my dash bulbs to LEDs and found this thread. It's a cloudy Sunday afternoon and I read the whole thing from start to finish, making notes on part numbers and stuff along the way. It's been a great couple of hours in your company and even my wife enjoyed the photos from the SAS trip. Coming to the end and finding that you're thinking about selling - aside from being a shocking twist in the tale - makes me think two things: 1. wish I was in the US (rather than Italy) with enough funds to buy it, and 2. DON'T DO IT!

The world is full of guys who regret selling vehicles, including one of your 911 people in this thread, right? If you don't actually need the money, or you really can't store/garage the 60 properly, or some other real, physical reason for not keeping it, then I think you'll always regret selling this. You said it yourself: "no one else is as deserving as I it feels".

Just remember - he who dies with the most toys, wins ;)

Bittersweet and away she goes to Arkansas. See you guys in the 40 section!

Ohooo, this hurts me to see. It’s such a great rig AND you have so much effort in it. One of the best 60’s around.

Good luck to the new owner!👍

Just saw this on your Instagram.. New owner gonna be a lucky SOB. Bit I don't wanna go to the 40 section Just starting to make friends here.
