gee joey now I will have to rebuild my engine just so I can buy this thing. Don't want to wipe the old engine out making in run good.

I'm just doing pre-turbo maintenance by throwing on new full head gasket kit with valve stems, head studs, all the oil gaskets, injector orings/insulator/grommets, fuel filter, fuel pickup screen and mod a blue fan clutch. If you haven't already, change out the water pump, tstat, all heater hoses + heater bypass, belts, etc if you're tearing into it.

leaving the bottom end alone, unless I tear it apart and the straight edge block test fails. It's a iron block. Those things are near bulletproof like the 2jz's.

Looks good. Not buying it if there’s no intercooler. Just sayin’.

I think it was established pretty early on that an intercooler was not going to be a part of this initial design.

And the fact that you wasted so much bandwidth posting up and giving your “input" for something you were not going to buy is not only disingenuous, it is downright crappy and you should be ashamed of yourself.

You really need to be banned from this thread.

But it looks like it will interfere with coilovers :(

Depends on how you are setup and what you have to navigate around aside from the coilovers. This is my setup, and given the measurements I've taken, I will make it fit. :deadhorse: #Turbo

Just wanted to show you guys the solution for the AC pressure hose. In the photos it shows the hose touching the wastegate pipe. There was a plan in place but it wasn’t ready by the time I was getting on the train.

This is bolt on and just replaced the existing bracket that hold the AC hose to the shock tower.

1/8" metal? Gee, I don't think it's beefy enough

Just messing with ya, i know its a prototype.

Damn I don't even have a sweet bracket like that. I just bent my lines out of the way. Lol. Next level folks I am telling you.

Why do your coilovers look vertical? Also I don't see ac lines?

Coilovers are slightly angled. Currently no AC, it is on the to do list, but not a priority since my rear is chopped and I don't have much of a roof.

The stock OEM front catalytic converter and Y-Pipe needs to get separated in prep for new flange and DownPipe

Measuring 3 3/4” (subject to change) from the edge of the pipes outer flaring towards the Y section of the pipe, just need to cut a nice and clean perpendicular cut. This allows the new flange to be easily added.

More info to come about the “test pipe”.

pins and needles regarding the "test pipe"

I'll take all the help I can get :hillbilly:

Watching the exhaust mods patiently, so I can prepare NOW for the eventual Turbo to come to fruition for me.

In the mean time, I have to listen to the fart-can that is my current blown out muffler until then.....

Please hurry up on the exhaust part.......;)

@NLXTACY - let us know when the cut location is finalized so I can start replacing my nasty, rusted, probably clogged system!

Still hoping to cram 2 x 8” long cats between your downpipe and OTRAMM’s “cat back”.

Can't remember if this has been asked but I'm curious about MPG with a turbo. How much worse can it get? Wondering for the sake of range if I end up waaay out in the middle of nowhere. No aux tank yet though I'd like to eventually do that as well. Wondering if it'll be a mandatory supporting mod or not .

~5,000 miles on mine. Pretty much the same but you will need to run Premium fuel
