I'd get the OE Yazaki wires from Toyota. I mean, they only last 20 years, plus they fit perfectly. Plugs, use the OEM Denso W14EXR-U

Others will chime in about Iridium and every variation between but I think those are expensive and a waste on a 2F.

I agree w Spike. The Yazaki/Toyota wires work the best, have the correct length for each wire and each wire has the correct angle formed for the boot. Also they've got permanent stamped numbers on them to guide you where they're supposed to go. No other wire set I've seen has all those goodies- and they last forever

to Ditto both @Spike Strip & @OSS ,

anyone who invests there Hard Earned paycheck into anything Less then the 90919-21325 OEM TOYOTA

YAZAKI Parts Maker Brand Cord Set w/ Coil Wire

at the Dealership Level ( during the 1998-2010 ) time frame it was Not Uncommon to see OEM YAZAKI Wires with

10+ Year Old Date Code Stamps on them
! Each Cord or Leed is Printed very clearly with a Born On Date if u will

and its stamped clearly every 4-5 inched approx. along the length of the wire , every once on a while

some Cheap or Sorry PO Soul that chose to or simply did not know would never change there original

Yazaki Factory Installed Wires Set . and one would eventually burn Up or Short out ,

i never saw a set personally that was still running past 20 Years , but the High Teens was where they would Finally

Fail in my Experience
.

To be clear i am NOT Endorsing or suggesting this approach , merely using it as a example of the Heavy Duty

Industrial Marine Grade Type Construction , materials Used , manufacturing process in JAPAN

your NOT going to find a Better Cord Set out there Period ! ,

its a Common Urban Folklore Legend in shops everywhere from the biggest JDM specialty Garage to

the Home Based HobbY Enthusiast on JDM Steroids 🤔

that brands like NGK , or YEC and HATACHI for example are quality acceptable substitutes .............

I say NO WAY Jack !

i Never saw a set of ANY Aftermarket Brand Wires last over that 10 Year Bench mark without Exhibiting

Current Drivability Issues Directly Related to the Wires Arcing , shorting or simply having a Now Higher

Resistance Due to Thermal Break Down and Age & Time Related

Lastly , The Price-point Purchase Price at You Local Dealer is still very Reasonable for a set of 90919-21325

They Fit 8/80-8/87 Fj60 2F

- Due to Certain FJ40 late Model Wires Sets being Discontinuend , I have Susessfully Installed and used

I so wish it was possible to get new Yazaki individual gauges for the 60 and 62. thanks to getting a good used quad gauge from @orangefj45 all my gauges work now, but I know it'll only be a matter of time before one goes kaput again. Hopefully not for another 30 years, but y'know....

Just because OEM parts have lasted a long time doesn't mean there aren't other manufacturers that make just as good, if not better (and perhaps cheaper), parts. Just saying.

I have a some fuel gauges and oil pressure gauges for sale in Classifieds. New OEM.

Last time I tried to get OEM plug wires for an FJ60 I was told they were no longer available (dealership). Is that not true?

I just bought and installed new OEM plugs, wires, distributor cap, seal, and rotor from Raging matt.
I should be good for a long time.....

That is not true. OEM wire sets are readily available. 90919-21325

Onur, searching for Yazaki wires for my '77 FJ55 and found your post above. Assume these wires would work? Thanks.
