For a 78 it took about 8.5 inches. I have enough material to cut and send out about 10 sections to others. I will cut at 9.5 inches unless you need more for some reason. This material is rated for 400F is crush proof, oil and water resistant/proof, rubber type material. Heavy duty not flimsy.
Let me know if you are interested. I may buy more bulk and cut to fit for each if more are interested. See pics. $25 includes the shipping to the lower 48.

Nice 2F sticker. I ordered one myself almost a month ago but I guess the FJ40 ebay sticker guy is never going to send it.
How did you paint your snorkel and air cleaner? Can or P.C.?

Thanks. Yes hose is spiral but without wire which makes it crush-proof. On the 2F- I just moved it under air cleaner (blasted and painted in shop). My Valve cover has the 2F raised letters and I'm going to paint that. Yes, the eBay sticker guy has been very slow- still owes me a few- shows he shipped now.

Yeah I bought the 2F decal and the antifreeze that goes on the passenger door. Was yours the atlas guy?
I wish I had a raised letter valve cover though, those rule.
Few more left who wants one? I plan to start a new thread soon but wanted to have those subscribed to this one get there's first. All those ordered will actually go out tomorrow (sorry wife forgot to drop off for me).

Note that when you all get these you will probably need to trim them down to 8 to 8.5 inches. Since it is spiral, mark it and then wrap some 2 inch painting tape around to cut a "square" cut. It will look off, but when you push it against a wall you will see it is actually straight. I did a final trim after I had the clamp position figured out. Us a sharp utility razor- nothing much else will cut this stuff.
