A650F 5 Speed for 1FZ (1 Viewer)

On this site it looks like they are able to cram the whole 5 speed assembly into a 343 case. Is hard to follow since it's so late and in Russian. Maybe someone else could look at it.

This is how the a750f ended. parts have to be made. It’s possible but how much would parts cost. Would others buy such an expensive part. I’m still thinking about making a Bell housing and converter adapter to make the a750f work but it would be an expensive part and would take years to break even. Let alone turn a profit.

@cjmoon Just curious, how long is the bell housing for the A750F? The 1FZ A343F bell is 7.5”.

The starter location for the V6 is close to the same location as the 1FZ. Not on top like the 4.7 V8.

The significance is the possibility of an adapter plate like this:

Thanks for the link!

I am pretty sure that was a A340 and NOT an A650, but I contacted them.

5 9/16”. Shallow and the converter is very small. Picture is the a750f bell inside the 1fz pattern with a the 1fz flex plate. It would be a thick piece of material. Crank adapter needed for pilot. Extension, converter adapter for flex plate, thick intermediate plate like you posted.

The more I look at this, and seeing that you can, put the A650F gut's in the A343F case and you have a 5 speed, I have an extra A343F sitting and I am curious, I would love to then I could sell them, without the new bell housing or other mods :meh::meh::meh::meh:

Umm, do you speak Russian? I don’t. I am not sure where the claim that this is an A650 5 speed conversion comes from.

The best I could get out of Google Translate was that they were building the beefiest A343 they could with aftermarket clutches and 100 series A343F guts with a shaft swap for use with a custom adapter or a 4Runner.

I didn’t see reference to A650 in there, just use of a 5 gear planetary in place of 4 gear planetary and comments about how the components got better over time.

“A report specifically for those who do not want to climb into the automatic transmission, read the charts, study and swim in the desktop ... putting a couple of toggle switches to think - well, I'm a cool tuner ... ..

I will try to describe what is actually tyuneng akpp.

First of all, what we want to achieve is clear, fast switching, adequate and reliable operation in any operating conditions, no friction clutch box, the ability to digest the greater power of the tuned motors and its return to the wheels ...

And also when installing a separate automatic controller, the ability to control in pseudo-mechanical mode.

A really serious customer came to me and wanted to get such an automatic transmission. Builds a car - runner 130, 1Uzet engine, two hand-outs, bridges and 39 wheels ....

Automatic control of a separate computer atek ...

The 34x automatic transmission series includes a huge number of different automatic transmissions, for different car manufacturers, different engines, different handouts and different controls ... was produced for two decades and during this period from the simplest control on three solenoids with small hydraulic brain from two plates to evolved from 4 brains plates and 7 solenoids….

So the variations on the 34x theme are a great many ...

What this is all about - and the fact that the box body has remained unchanged in terms of overall dimensions, but the internal content has gotten better and better, stronger, stronger and more complicated ... one can say that every internal cubic mm of space has become used over time.

That is, there is no free space left at all ...

We will try to shove something into the same building ...

We act under the slogan - shove nevpihuemoe ....

The details of the assembly, disassembly, I will not describe .... He wrote more than once, who needs to find and read ....

I will describe only what really applies to non-standard compared to the usual assembly-disassembly of the machine.

The box is made under the American transition to two hand-outs .... I do not have it, so there will be no pictures.

The owner himself will then install the adapter and fix razdatki. If anyone has an interest, then I can separately take excerpts from the American instructions for installing the adapter.

I will describe only what is done by me on the automatic transmission.

First of all, in accordance with this instruction, it is necessary to find a box with the correct output shaft, of the required length ...

I have a lot of shafts and different…. Just a photo, the differences of the shaft shafts under a different slot and different handouts.

The same shafts but already the part that comes in the box ...

Please note that one single shaft of all, the one that is below, has a pair of additional grinding for additional supports in the sliding bushings.

Here it is in comparison with the same from the same machine and the same box ...

Here we will use it ...

This is it next to the shaft of the hundredth cruiser .... Even the weave has no such additional polishing, and the 343 cruiser is considered the pinnacle of the development of the 343 series of boxes ...“

Thanks, that’s helpful! What’s the overall length of A750F from bell housing to engine surface to transfer case mounting surface? It’s 28.5” with the 1FZ A343F.

I am wondering if there’s any length left for an adapter plate between 1FZ block and A750F bell housing, possibility with V6 bell, starter is about same location as 1FZ.

Oh I hear ya, I really don't need a 5 speed, and I am using a stand alone for my 343 transmission and can adjust it anyway I would like. The manual mode you do not get lock up, with stock ECU stand alone too, you would need a TC lock up circuit, wired into your harness . I have tried to destroy my transmission by pulling a dump truck out of mud, and nothing happened. I was just curious to do a 5 speed for people who do not have the funds to do something else to give the cruiser a little wider range with the 1FZ motor

27" plenty of room. My plan was to always match the length so no driveshaft or cross members had to change. with that space, it really wouldn't matter where the starter on the A750F bell was it would all be accounted for on the intermediate plate (yes same transmission mount used on the LC/LX not sure on 4runner version)

I was looking around and found this

Does this mean that toyota has a bellhousing for the A750 that bolts to the 1FZ?

Is this what we need to make the A650E work?

Interesting! Where did you find find that drawing? And the follow up question, is the part actually available? Where?

I tried googling A650F couldn’t find anything.
I got it from that Russian LandCruiser website. Here's the Link
