So got this for Tundra, LS work, wife’s 200. It’s bidirectional capable, does ABS, etc. was 35% off. Chasing down an issue with my Tundra. Got ABS/Brake/ traction control dash lights on. No check engine light. Replaced wheel speed sensors but has not solved it. Wiring looks good. Hopefully scan tool picks up non MIL DTCs.

Is the Tundra a 4x4 ?
On my tow rig when I had those lights come on a simple stop shift from high to 4 low and back fixed the issue as 4 low disables the traction control.
My wife was how did you know, I said just a hunch.
That was several trips back, and the lights have not returned. 😎

Does that tool require an internet connection?
For initial set up and updates (OS and manufacturer stuff). Not after that. Looks like I have a bad ABS control module. Wheel speed sensors were clear.

A little change in life. I catch the sunrise each morning. There is something centering about it.

Your S2000 and wife’s car. LS diagnostics.

@SipLife took a trip up to finish up his fuel system base lining. Tank out gunk removed, took tank to the car wash, pressure washed it. Treated with 50/50 muriatic acid, neutralized with saturated baking soda solution, rinsed it out, let it dry in the hot texas sun.

Took apart the carb for a thorough rebuild. Holley 4 bbl. Good I did the TEQ dual bbl carb rebuilt on Kermit ahead of this. A lot of similarities. Passing down Marlin Crawlers gems as well as well those of @landcrusher909 to the next generation. A lesson on anal retentive do it right or dont even try.

Also helped a good cruiserhead weld on some fenders on his boat trailer. His son came too. Likes to work with his hands. He did pretty damn good welding for the first time. Boat has a water cooled corvette engine.

Outstanding ! cookie sheets and Cup cake pans. Everything laid out and clean. Keeping a lost art of Carb rebuilding alive. Love it

Welding in Crocks and socks. I did that once. Spark fell though the holes and caught my sock on fire.
Use what ya brung in this case. Spur of the moment. He did have mental sparks when he realized he can be good at it. He will likely get a welder and more gear when he does. Its nice to light a spark in a young kid that likes to work with his hands.

Bought myself some soft slings. Passage of having to work without the elves around as often. Use with forklift and gantry.

Reminds me of actions my dad took when I was in college.
While my brother and I were at home, he wouldn't buy a loader for any of the tractors. He had two sons with manure forks to clean the barn; why spend the money. As soon as we left for college, he invested in a loader because he wasn't going to be forking the barn clean.

Thanks for reviving old memories

I spent my birthday alongside @Cowboy45. He got a making a transmission cross member for Old Landy. He has been trying to muster up his will to get at it. Once this is done, main driveline stuff is done. Great time spent!
