Seem like you and spyduh are in competition to see who can destroy more stuff😂🤣😁

Im thinking about making a pair of inserts that go into the triangle shape for the frame side radius arm mount and then drilling a hole for the through bolt, this would make the bracket way stronger...have you all done anything like that?.

no. but I think Eimkeith makes a front radius arm bracket. So does Rampt Customs

one thing to add. depends if you have more time or money. you can buy prebent and ready to weld on stuff and that's quick and easy. Otherwise with a plasma, cutoff discs, grinder, sawzall and welder and some plate steel from ruffstuff. You can fabricate your own mounts pretty easily.

Like these that I made with a skid. Not pretty but effective

These are for the rear

Unfortunately I sold my plasma cutter to buy meth, but I've got a torch and enthusiasm. All the premade brackets for the front are to lower...I'll just make some;)

Meth kills…..

I think I want to find something like this for the front to protect the drain plug...

How would that protect the drain plug?

How would that protect the drain plug?
My thinking is that it builds up the material around the plug, then fill the gap with a big ass weld and low profile drain plug. The diff cover would then take most of the abuse

Ballastic fab makes the thickest one. My plug hasn't even been touched with the ballastic fab armor
Here's the underdiff armor. I also use a Marlin Diff cover and cut it in half to protect the case. Has to be cut in half because of the panhard in the way.

Edit: don't forget to buy a low profile drain (allen) plug. Marlin sells ones. I would but at least 3. 1 for a trail spare.

Otherwise it looks like they don't list the rear for sale anymore. Here's the part number in case you want to order it
TOY-1360FJ80 Rear Diff Armor And Skid Plate

I actually bought 2. I have one I haven't installed on the Turbo80 and think I won't since I don't do super hardcore trails like I do on my Crawler80. If you're interested. I can sell it to you for what i bought it for. Just been sitting in my parts to install box.

I've been running with a bent radius arm and tie rod for a while now. I figured it was time to actually fix them before they created an issue. I'll have to work on the alignment a little because I'm sure all these bends have thrown things off.

I know I'm not as strong as I used to be, but no matter how hard I pushed, I couldn't get the bushings in the radius arm so I put the arm on the ground, put a steal plate over it and ran it over with my truck. Still not enough, so I dropped the truck off a 2 foot drop into the plate and that got it...I'm thinking there's gotta be an easier way to get those bushings into the radius arm.
