The big question for me is always how much do I try to make my truck nice since it seems to look more like a raisin every time I go anywhere? Im very jealous of all the nice trucks, but alast..., Me and rocks (and trees) have developed a very special relationship. I run into them and they don't move.

Sad engine mount...I needed these bolts to get the engine high enough do the fan cleared the shroud

I love Noah's go for it attitude. He and @mustcamp did this road side fix in Kettleman City on the way to Oakhurst Friday nite to go snow wheeling Saturday. He wheeled it all day Saturday then drove it home like that.:cheers:

I suck at updating this thread...got the brake lines sorted out, had to trim, reflare the brake lines, and then all good. Went on a few adventures, got new hood struts, but now need to deal with engine mounts.

Motor Mounts are 'fun' to do. At least mine were. Glad its over with though.

Mine were in need of replacement.

You and me both. Will you replace the engine isolator that’s under the transmission also?

I'm avoiding them...I started twice on the engine mounts, got pissed off and went back inside...

Oh....believe me I KNOW.

It took me walking away from it a couple of times and a few of these:

Ok, finally got the engine mounts replaced, ended up taking the engine side mounts off, it was the only way I could get it done.

Looks like you got all you were going get out of those old mounts. Good work man!

The funny thing is I decided to replace all the mounts because the transfer case shifter was moving around a lot while I drive. After the swap, and curse words, the transfer case shifter moves around the exact same amount.😛

But more smoothly...

I haven't updated this thread in a while becaseu I have been working on my other truck(s) and LX450 has been just sitting. But I am excited to see some of you knuckleheads in a couple of weeks at Fordyce.

Nice work.

Had a blast at Fordyce, thanks guys. Time to do some refurbishing.

Fix oil leaks
Panhard bracket for the rear
New Radius arms (mine are bent)
Re enforce frame side radius arms bracket (not sure yet)
Diff Oil plug skid plate or something so it stops getting beat to heck
Maybe straighten out the caster plate?

Then break the next thing!

That diff drain plug is begging to be removed by rocks. Get it together man, the next run is soon.

What are you talking bout, it is so smooth it just floats over the rocks, there are literally no edges left to catch:)

Oh yeah, and I have to fix the new hole in the exhaust I made...the trail fix wont last.
