One issue that I'm finding with this nearly 230 page long thread, is that some of the products, companies and websites that were recommended from the early days are no longer valid. I've been working through this thread methodically and keep coming across dead links and products that are no longer available. I'm looking for a fuel pump for the LS3 and the early recommendations were for a Denso 950-0155 which was recommended for a 1997 Toyota twin turbo Supra. This one seems to be discontinued. I did look up this application on Rock Auto and the best (or at least most expensive) one currently listed is a GMB 5991140. I would assume it would meet the specs and fit correctly, but am not familiar with GMB as a brand. I don't want to use a Walbro since most people mention how loud they are.
I happen to be working on the truck.I'm trying to track down a picture and/or measurement of the distance between the crankshaft pulley and the panhard support tube that goes under it. I'm trying to establish the height of the engine for motor mount placement. I haven't been able to find a good picture or measurement. My crankshaft pulley is 7.625" diameter.
Perfect. I'm trying to keep my t-case in the stock location and the pulley is right above that tubular cross member for the panhard. But I can throw in the radiator skid plate? (not sure what that piece is called) and do a measurement there. Is your pulley the same 7.625" diameter?I happen to be working on the truck.
I moved my mounts forward 1.25" and the frame rises slightly as the mounts are moved forward.

Thanks. Mine looks like 7.64" according to Rock Auto.It is the stock one on a GMC Savana L96 6.0L, which appears to be 19300488 and has a diameter of 7.68 according to Rock Auto.
Remove your front springs so you are at full bump. Then put the engine in where you want it. i m runing original pump , no problems plus if you chech the data you are basicly downsizing , the old pump is beter you have more flow compering to one from 4runer i see some people usin supra pump also but that one is also downsizeTook others advice. I bought the denso fuel pump for the v8 4Runner. Notice the differences. 4 runner on the left (beefier on steroids). I had to use the LC filter, the 4Runner was a little longer so won’t fit in the tank. The connectors were different, so I had to cut the wires and do some soldering.
In addition, gasket was really stuck, used the method below to pop it out (paint lid opener).

I read many swaps but didn't see this information so I went with the 4 runner fuel pump. Also, the guys that run the 4 runner pump I didn’t see that they had any problems. My old fuel pump had 400k miles, so it's probably still better than running the old one. Where did you get the 150 LPH info on the 4runner fuel pump? Can't find the info on google. you basicly went from 155 LPH down to 150 LPH
just compere the data , you basiclu downsized and wasted money on something you do not need

Pretty much but what I have is old but made the same. Where are you pulling air into the box from? I don't see an inlet
