Did you sandblast the bottom of your body before the Rustbullit?
Looks real good man.
Yeah, I sure did. . . and what a PIA that was!! Nothing like blasting overhead!

Thanks for the compliment!

Just read your thread and all i can say is udaman!! Very nice work. I think ur more anal than me...lol. I however, do not own the skills you have. Very nice, look forward to seeing more!
OMFG.... you have a great shop and a great project. i am very encouraged to start this myself. However, the lift would be the key as well as having that shop!! Having a shop like that must ignite alot of your inspiration for this project. C'mon.... I would be in there 24/7
Nice thread and great story and photos.

Good grief, you are a surgeon. This has to be the fun part of the hobby for you, right?
I would of given up and found a southwest body long ago!
ps- what is that project going on next to the Cruiser? An old 60's Chevy pickup?
Tuned in, turned on and taking notes!! You just switched my purchase plans from a scissor hoist to a "real" hoist. You do amazing work! Are you seriously using a vice to make your bends, or do you have a hidden box pan brake?! I'm finishing up my garage now (insulating for the winter!) and then in rolls the FJ40. Once it's done, it rolls out and in comes the BJ60! I hope I can do a job half as good as yours!!
NICE!!
Come on man, this old turd still has plenty of life in her!! The way I look at it, if I save this one, that's 1 extra southwest body for someone else, right?
Good eye! '66 Chevy C10. My granddad bought it new in '66, my mom learned to drive in it, and it was my first vehicle. It's next on the list after I finish the FJ60.
Drool....
