I think the torque values are quite low something like 15ft/lbs.

When I think I've a good handle on things, think nice done it enough, think I know what's going on, I'm typically humbled by my own ineptness, as a learning experience to never think I know chit about anything again

Feel like the suspension is a win, but only 80% done and still a noticeable rake.

It all feels good, so I'll deal with the rake.

Still need to permanently mount the resis, since the fronts are zip tied and rears temp welded, but going to bolt the resi mounts to the front inner fender and have a plan for a bolt on resi mount for the rear, too.

Sway has to be addressed, not only for on road, but off. The coils/ shocks feel to good to jack with, so not an option, but the rocking action has to stop and a more predictable solution installed.

May play around with sway bars mounted above the rear frame rail, mostly to ensure function before boring holes and welding housing through the rear frame rails.

I'm on my own on sizing and concerns, considering the expense, but a project in the making.

Still want to taper the rear rails and chop at the lower gate, to keep from dragging the rear around, but not sure if tucking a rear tube bumper close is a good idea.

It's nice to have a little buffer....

I'd be a dyed in the wool MT fanboy if LT would get off his ass and produce a rear tube bumper with quarter protection for the 80, but it'll never happen, since there's no money to be made on selling 80 products.

I can see it on a vehicle that's 33-43 years old that there's only a handful even left, but the 80 has quite a bit more following.....yet minimal money in product development in the US.

Say that, yet Slee has a complete lineup....

Since the direction on my Pig build has changed to a full, complete restoration, it's actually a little easier from the perspective of very little thought going into the "what", but more the "how".

Can't find the page now, since Safari bookmarks didn't transfer to new IPhone (be my fourth, but this one I paid full retail for, so treating it like a newborn baby) but I had saved a "Forum Reader" web page that generated early on in my quest for 2UZ'd swine information.

One of them, if memory serves, listed the OE color code for that particular green, which I think I have, and also other information on the overall OE scheme.

An I dreaming that it was yours? Did Ipor handle that aspect, too?

Spotter moved to the DS window when eye contact was lost.

KR was spotting (akirilo on Mud) and he's made it up several times, so his experience and ability to place tires in the perfect spot, made my maiden trip up very, very, very easy? In comparison to someone that's going the first time.

Credit where credit is due, but spotter and machine are responsible. All I did was steer.

Proof in pint is a video I shot at Superlift during a Krewser event that coincided with a Gorilla Run.

In the video, it looks like a semi-steep hill that the 400-500hp bird cage bouncers are trying to ascend.

In reality, if standing on the hill, one knew was down with the other foot firmly planted.

We've been doing our part to increase demand...

About the best advice I've been given was from LT who linked a tube bender.

If it doesn't exist, no choice but to create it, I just lack the skills and time to develop the skills.

Another observation.

Not rubbing anywhere and have no bump stop drops installed.

The compressed coil estimation may have been long, but at full compression, I've still the rubber "bump stop" that Glenn installs on Radflo's to go up, but don't think I can use, anyway.







Regardless, appears all is dialed in, but thinking I may cut the fenders just in case the next tires are 39s.
