Mightily fancy dude.
Yeah this will likely be my last Land Cruiser build so I kind of want to put everything into it, so I am not wishing I would have after it is done.

Yeah I don't necessarily love all the texture but to smooth everything out evidently would have required a lot more machine work. I think it will look cool once it is coated.

That texture is very intentional they added the crissy crossy stuff after the whole thing was surfaced. It took a lot of extra programming and machine time to add that.

Looks like fun.

Oh that could be, there is a little language barrier so maybe he meant it would take a lot of time now to make it smooth. The texture is kind of growing on me the more pictures he sends! Haha

I have never really done this but if anyone wants to go to SMS's IG account and let them know they should send me my valve cover that would be awesome. Haha.

Funds cleared 1/9/24 and it has been nothing but excuses since.

Any word on the valve cover so far?

Actually yes, he just sent me a video on Instagram Saturday that shows it is done and completed with the GTR coil plate that I requested. But I will believe it when I have it in my hands. lol.

It looks killer at least! Where are the breather and pcv ports on this design?
AN bungs machined into the back of the valve cover with baffles on the inside.

Sorry these are just bad blurry photos from the video he sent me. Once I have it in hand I will show more of the detail if you’re interested.

That would be rad! I’m definitely interested. I’m getting ready to tear back into my setup to go from the factory ecu on ~7psi to a haltech elite 2500 with an upgraded fuel system and am looking for “while I’m in there” things to do. One of these might meet that criteria haha

Haha they are not cheap.... it is a big chunk of aluminum. lol

Unless! You'd be up for selling your old one after this one comes in🤯. It would almost be cooler to buy a piece of the 1fz history that started it all! Totally understand if you'd rather hold onto it, though.

Well it actually arrived! About 6 months wait after sending a money order I thought for sure that money was gone. Haha.

But pictures don’t do this thing justice. It is definitely a big chunk of aluminum, there are no weight savings here! Lol. And yes I know there is zero performance gain from a billet valve cover but I just think it’s cool. Lol

If anyone wants any specific photos or anything let me know.

CNC billet cap and the threads are incredibly smooth.

Valve cover is cut with a o-ring groove for the oil fill cap

CNC adapter plate for Nissan GTR ignition coils. You could have this plate adapt to any other ignition coils.

Nicely machined for the spark plug oil gaskets

AN ports for blowby.
