1994 FZJ80
Darren Leafblad
Working on the name...
163,000 so far...
Pulled the running boards, working on 1" body lift, has Factory Lockers, Needs new and bigger tires...
Secondary vehicle, trailer pulling, Offroad Fun!

Needs the hood, drivers fender painted but overall very good condition. Working on the money for better/bigger tires and a 2-3" lift as well. Just happy to have it at this point!
Traded a 1993 GMC pickup straight across for a 1988 Jeep Wrangler that was well setup, in order to sell the Jeep in order to buy the 80!

I came home with a 1994 FZJ80 this weekend. Thanks TCinVA! I traded my 86 4Runner for it.
It is a factory Lockered rig. 3 inch lift, ARB, snorkel, some trail massaging already.

Right now I cleaned it all up, removed a few things. Gonig to finish up taking off the front fender flares when it stops raining, and then proceed to make a rear bumper/tire carrier combo to settle down the rear. IT is going to be a wheeling vehicle probably until I finish my M38a1 build, then it will be a wheeler/tow rig. The kids love the 3rd row seat, and we do also, it is much quieter when they are in the way back. :) So I can stop lurking and finally join up legitimately.

It's time I did this.

1. 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ80
2. Christopher E. Tucker

Andrew nice amber marker lights!

Been on mud for over a year now, and have had my 80 since November. Lots of work has been done so far...... still more to come. Here she is:
1993 fzj80
Brent Sole
184,000 miles and counting
Immediately after buying her and making the drive from Portland to Seattle, I knew I would be tearing into the motor- combustion in cooling system, leaky valve seals ect. I gathered up a few good friends and we made short work of the headgasket job and head re-fresh. I have put 2,000 miles on it since and all seems to be well. Fun mods are: OME med lift-putting heavies in the front to bring it up and prepare for a winch, custom sliders and front bumper, 285 at's with gray painted wheels. Husky liners throughout, sor camo seat covers, Kenwood cd player, Pin 7 and cdl, de-racked, de-flared, snorkel (mouth breather) and antenna chop. Good to go.
I use it to do everything that would wreck my subaru:cheers:

I just have to ask. Where are you from and is that salt water you are driving your rig through?

Bad A** rig man. What part of Texas?

New 80

I started with a 55 build that broke the bank account, sold it and just picked up this 80 last week from the second owner. He's a retired Col. and serviced it every 3K miles, and it came with every service record.....$23500... of service records.
The first owner got busted by the DEA.... he put these funky wheels on it. The local dealer purchased it at auction and sold it the Col with 200 miles on it,
