To echo what knuckle wrote, Robert Pirsig (author of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance) would say that the QUALITY of the work transcends all opinions on the color.šŸ˜‰

Love the orange..!!!

If I were to do a Frankenbuild 40 or 45, ā€œOrangeā€ is on my short list via @archie73 inspiration.

You definitely won’t loose it in the woods..šŸ˜‰
Thanks for the props. I have to admit I was partial to staying with the biege, but the wife wanted more color… Since she drives it as well I relented. It grows on me every day. Every once in a while, I catch it at the perfect light( sundown) and I smile. Still haven’t color sanded it. Or washed it. I just don’t seem to have the desire, I like a little mud on a truck.

Let me hook you up with some class 10.9 JIS Bolts for those locations so I can sleep better. Although if your seat rails are flying off, you probably have bigger problems.

Love following the build though.
From 2017^^^

So, after a little over seven years, I’ve taken you up on your offer…Mule 2.0 is now sporting (soonly) some Overland JIS hardware…Didn’t want to rush it. Had to study on it for a bit..šŸ™„

You can amortize the cost over those seven years, for accounting purposes with the princess.

Amortize - derives from the Vulgar Latin Admortire, meaning To Kill.

So yeah, in this situation, seems about right!

I wonder what it means in ā€œVulgar West Virginianā€ā€¦. Probably something like, ā€œYou @#$&%$# knuckle dragging sum@#$&%, you spent how much on the Muleā€ā€¦Roughly translated of course..😁

If you can extrapolate that into an acceptable schedule for the Mrs improvement projects , you’ve missed your calling!

Rad support, shroud and other bits getting a Refreshtomod coat of black…

Big day for the Mule.

Tinted liner is in..:bounce: RCLC making it happen ahead of schedule. The contrast between the painted surface and the lined areas is spot on and the tone on tone catches the eye.

At a ā€œDecision Pointā€ with the interior šŸ¤”.

Seems like a well chosen shade of lighter brown would be the obvious choice for interior.

Unless you’re really brave then go cream/off white.
Having done white tinted bed liner I would suggest that you don't do white tinted bed liner. Just for the simple fact that it stains

I assumed he was talking about seats?

Yes, seats, jump seats and maybe door cards. Ongoing discussion about the headliner as well.

Cream filled chocolate with cream on top.
DO IT!

I was thinking something a little more ā€œmundaneā€..

1st COA. Color isn’t translating well digitally. But, it’s in the park. I’m picking up the seats next week for a date at the upholstery shop. I’ll bracket it then and fire for effect..
