We’re using a 62 Tach.

Aluminum face plate comes with a printed “housing”. The unit came out of AUS.

Wow 5k. I set the redline on my tach at 3k. That gets me to about 55 (unless there is a headwind) which is all I need on my 5 mile commute. :)

You can get a new “face” with a redline at 3k for the 60 or 62 gauge.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to put this?

Sounds like a job for “Dan the man”…Pretty sure he’d tell you where to stick it. 😛

The “Franken“ lights are remounted. I need to spring for new ones at some point. The bases on the Franken lights are metal from an aftermarket set I bought @65swb45. I think I spaced the housing and the bases with washers to complete the Random Redneckness thread build Candidate(s). In fact, I probably could have shifted the Mule 1.0 over to the RR thread and no one would have noticed. :hillbilly: :flipoff2: Ahhhh, good times, good times.

This is one of the particular areas of interest to me because of the nearly vertical angle of the transmission tunnel. Curious to see how much room is left for the gas pedal
Good catch, Mark. On the list of things to mount this afternoon after the clutch master. Aqualu provides holes for a cable but not the linkage for the later carbs. Will post pics. Fortunately @Chungas Revenge and I are similar builds for test fitting.

Dont forget, I have one leg shorter than the other from walking on the sides of these hill… :hillbilly:
It's a very vague memory, but I believe it is called Whiskey Boot Hill.

West Virginia ain’t nothing but “hills, whores, and likker stores!”

There’s a 3 legged WV joke in there somewhere…..

Well, it is a lesser known fact, generally not taught outside the hallowed hills, that the “tripod“ was modeled after a tenant farmer of Scottish/English descent by the name of Seamus Longfellow. Although, the evidence remains inconclusive as whether he saw any royalties from the patent. 😁
