I love that bumper sticker.....first time I've seen that one.

My previous favorite was one my dad ran on his trucks for many years, "Make welfare as hard to get as a building permit"

Cut this old heater up needed some parts off of it to do this. I needed to fill the space between the heater and the AC my rubber was to short for a good seal. It added about a inch, Maybe could be used to fix the plastic tube reinforce inside,

Some nice work there Dale! !! I may have to add this to my list. Esp given I have to open the hood to open my heater valve

Ah, replacement heater valve!!!

Would a 40 valve been any easier to fit?
No I don’t think so the 40 valve has that bend in it, I guess you could cut that bend off make shorter, but the bracket doesn’t work on my 55

Well the heater valve works great, Moving on my clutch has never worked right always had to push the clutch all the way in before it would release, with the throwout bearing up against the pressure plate no adjustment left, and me grinding the gears when shifting. Well now I know why my clutch arm broke it was pushing in at the wrong (angle) but not in enough to disengage the clutch. I never checked the throwout bearing I got from Napa. I bought a new clutch kit from Valley Hybrids in Stockton. And this was the problem. The bearing was to short from Napa. I now can shift without grinding the gears thanks to Valley Hybrids

Are you sure that's the right pushrod for that fork?

No not sure, But I think it is, This is on a 4 sp, I think 3 sp might be different that arm on mine the Hole got bigger because of the angle and wore it out, It had to push it in more at a different angle this is a pic of the bad and the good

That's a 4 sp fork but I think the rod is for a 3 sp. The 3 sp fork is stamped steel and has a dimple for the round head of your adjusting nut to ride in. The 4 sp pushrod goes through the adjusting nut and through the hole in the fork.
