Well the heater valve works great, Moving on my clutch has never worked right always had to push the clutch all the way in before it would release, with the throwout bearing up against the pressure plate no adjustment left, and me grinding the gears when shifting. Well now I know why my clutch arm broke it was pushing in at the wrong (angle) but not in enough to disengage the clutch. I never checked the throwout bearing I got from Napa. I bought a new clutch kit from Valley Hybrids in Stockton. And this was the problem. The bearing was to short from Napa. I now can shift without grinding the gears thanks to Valley Hybrids

Hello 55er, I started back on my AC project , Made my AC lines ,First time for me to build a Heater, AC system. There is no blueprint only the 55 mud board , Thanks guys .
So far so good , But having to buy the right fitting gets to be costly $$$$ Next phase is Vacuum and R134a Cost for this set up is close to $1800 ????

Unless you can clean the evaporator fins, I would make some kind of filter for that fan inlet.
Once the evaporator starts getting clogged it will just become less and less efficient.
What condensor are you running?

Classic auto Air ( Street Rod Cooler III ) with Vintage Air hardware , Will keep eye on the fan , I just might get to use my Rubiee (Rubicon ) Tube

Classic Air is the same as Restomod like I have. Restomod went with a new system that requires an app on your phone instead of the dash controls. Could you talk about the Vintage Air hardware you used and why, how, etc. I need to repair mine and don't want a damn app on a phone to turn up the a/c.

I used Vintage Air hardware only because they have a Catalog full of parts , I spent a lot of time looking for what i needed , Only parts from Classic auto air was the Street Rod Cooler III , and Condenser . After looking at AC units for 55 , From you guys ( Scraps ,and others) on mud this unit fits very nice , No App 4 mine
