Nice! Interesting it was on the BJ60. I had never seen such a switch in a HJ60 so that totally makes sense. Thanks.

- i was so truly intrigued by that pre-owned specimen because i had NEVER seen one before either ....

- but in my
TEq-travels teenage Loner-Years day dreaming for hours on end into microfiche readers viewing box ports , the kool wholesale manager Skip Heron at Browns TOYOTA City actually had a very very decent archive of ALL the NON-USA various market regions Micro Fiche Slides .

- he told me to follow certain KNOCK OUT Delete plate Part numbers . the knock out plates would then lead you to all the various TOYOTA's that had for example the FJ60 Short and Stubby Size Spec. switch platform designed into them in one way shape or form ...

- i started to compile a usa market list , then canada , then EU , General countries and beyond .....

- JAPAN market micro-fiche at the time was well ALL Kanji , so that market was never explored by me

- but i was able to compile a at the time pen and paper 3-ring binder simple data-base of sorts , i still refer to today ...

- i indeed referred to it Tuesday night to make the conclusions i did ,.,,,,

- i was having kittens so bad over the unicorn new and mysteries fog switch you posted @Cruiser Cult , in a metric second after making the JAPAN spec, early BJ60 conclusion was solid , i was tapping away to some Jamming YOU TUBE tunes , and plugging away at the worlds first ever reproduction 84160-90A02 :D

- and that is how is was and how it became to be , down to the matching OEM
BLUE 2pin male YAKAKI ...

.

I could get a set of used OEM 60 series fender, flares if you’re in the market.
Any chance of a 62 driver's side fender?

I'm still on the prowl for one since patching the hole in mine might be beyond my sheet metal working skills.

They’re fiberglass. Any decent body shop should be able to sort them out for you.

Which driver’s side fender and which section? Front upper or lower section? Rear wheel well upper or lower section attached to the door? There's a slim chance I might have one—photos for reference.

Otherwise, they are not cheap. I was in a similar situation. I had to have one replaced, and I had to buy the entire set. It was not cheap.

If the gaskets are original, they are usually in poor condition at this point, would you also be needed that?

Ooohhh were you saying just fender flares are what you can get? I don't even have flares on my 62. Just a fist sized hole in the front driver's side fender sheet metal. I misunderstood your post.

Plenty of quarter panels available from trucks being parted out. Not sure this is the correct thread for that, but I may be misunderstanding what you need.

Pretty clever finding hard to get parts overseas. I do it for fun for friends, actual cost plus shipping.

i’d be interested in this.
I actually made this myself for like $20 if you want to try and DIY. I did a write up on it somewhere. Let me try and find it it was just a dry transfer decal and 2 leds. I didnt have to 3d print a housing i just used the seatbelt indicator spot

i’d be interested in this.

Here ya go

Would these qualify for this thread?

Ugh, my level of desire for that setup is off the charts.

Shoot, I know some folks who just need the lever bracket - I'd love to get my hands on one and try to recreate it.

admittedly, this is not a part I have experience with. If you were wanting it, what would you ask for outside of this picture? The description means be simple enough for someone whose English is not their first language to understand. I’m happy to put the word out.

No promises.
