Any recommendations for 1969 head liner? I see Cruiser Corps makes them and am curious if this is my only source?

Could find an upholstery shop to make one. Could try to source some of that old school inner sleeping bag liner material with the patterns of grizzly bears and guys trout fishing.🤔 Some guys are going with plaid, but it might be time to start thinking outside the box.

I know the kind, you would freeze your ass off in 60 degree weather

Jon, you’d be better off mounting a Sanden or Nippondenso compressor on the right side under the alternator if for no other reason than to dump the York and it’s bracket. Besides, your A/C hoses go through the firewall on the right side anyway.

I want a pair of the old plastic strip lawn chairs..

Good to know. Little things like the routing of hoses never crossed my mind!

Tried shipping H55 to Valley Hybrids last week. As usual Georg's company arranges pick up like last tranny I shipped for the BJ45. I used a buddies Used equipment lot right off highway and had no issues.
Quote this time was $980 EACH WAY. I dang near crapped myself. Said it was in rural area for YRC to pick up. The kicker of the deal is the interstate (I70) is closed at Glenwood Springs and all I70 traffic is routed right by my friends lot. Literally 30 yards off the road and its reported to be like this for months.
Now if I take it to Denver to dock, 3 hours away it's $110 each way. Of course on the truck it will be carried right by my original pick up point.

Sounds like you are going to Denver. :p

I think you asked about a dash pad in another thread: Dash Cap - FJ55 1972-1980 - https://cruisercorps.com/products/dash-cap-fj55

Also, I think SOR makes headliners as well. I might have one from them that I don't need. The problem with 55 headliners is you need to remove the windshield to install them properly. Just FYI.

Recommend the SOR headliner. Had one professionally installed 11years ago while all glass was out. Looks OEM and lasting well. Wasn’t that expensive compared to starting from scratch at an upholstery shop. Install was about $100.

I am going to trailer the Sow to @riderjgs paint/body shop Tuesday in GJ so he can give it a good lookover and establish what she will need. Have to admit originally thinking of some green but being OSU Cowboys I just cant get away from some orange.

Right now we are sticking with 2 tone pattern. I am leaning towards the new Tacoma orange with Cygnus white. Pewter every where else it suppose to be. Will try and post what I am thinking of. Any advice would be appreciated . In the end she will have 33x10.5 wheels. Springs should be close to being done for 3" lift. Rebuilt H55 also being picked up Tuesday so drivetrain complete.

Gonna need to work on some window seals now.

Off to meet @riderjgs and his paint body guy tomorrow.

I called Alcan this morning a few minutes early to check on my new springs but they weren’t open yet. While waiting for 7:30 to come I got email from them how to measure for new u bolts. Springs will be ready next week when I go back to GRand junction for daughters x country track. Looks like SOW will get lift in week or two.

Need some front bumper ideas. Way the winch was secured a plate was placed over some mounting bolts. This made it impossible to remove the winch from bumper without cutting some welds.

I’m not even sure the old warn 6000 works as I’ve not been able to get it to do anything but I’m naive how to run em.

Looking for some good ideas for front bumper which will have most likely a newer smaller winch installed
