Hope to have it in, in a couple of weeks. I cut the adaptor tube for the nose cone off just at the end of the 465's I hope I didn't cut it to short. After looking at the 3 speeds it's .5-1" shorter.

Here's some cruiser porn for y'all.
Got the parts in to install the sm465.
Orders tires went with irocs 36-13.50-15 need to change the rims or do some spacers they hit the TRE.
And the twin sticks are done.

Jake always nice to see some progress what mount did you end up going with to mount the tranny t case

None yet. Some say you don't need one. I am going to mount it off my rear crossmember but I'm getting it going first.
The trans cover is kicking my butt not as easy as cutting a new hole. Going to work on it today.

Sticks pretty high up there mine has a inch body lift so that helped out a ton

Spacers came in today got the passenger side tires on. They look good.
Got the trollhole carb on. Modifying a 2F air cleaner to fit.
Can't get good pics now in the car port.

Starting to finish things on this project. Got the twin sticks done Had to redesign the high low selector. To miss the body.
Next is fill up the trans/transfer and drive shafts.

Got some done this weekend.
Got rear drive shaft done.
Got the bell hosing and trans. bolted together.
Got the bolts for the role cage and crossmember.

Here is a running tally of things to do before fall crawl

Things to get off your ass and do/install!

DONE -finish fuel lines to carb
DONE - get exhaust installed
DONE- fill trans and transfer with oil
DONE-make drag link for stearing
DONE- finish crossmember
-finish anti wrap bar
2 -bolt in roll cage (need 12 7/16x2")
NEED BOLTS -finish trans cover
DONE -bolt in seats
-run electric wires
1/2done -install fenders fenders are not lining up
FOUND -fix rear brake leak master cylinder needs rebuilt. Rebuilding my 60 master.

Think needed to buy for cruiser
-Heater lines
-radiator hoses
-Bed Liner

Thank you Volcom you should come to the Fall Crawl at the Cove it's going to be a boot wheeling trip and a lot of the CLCC club members will be there.

It took some messing with but finally got the 40 to idle. I had the vac to the distributer off and one from the oil fill to the carb base must have a bad PVC or is not suppose to be there.
Got the exhaust done. The seats and gas tank in. But the gas tank drain plug is leaking.

The first time out was good and bad every thing worked good but would not idle right and after an 8 hour day of wheeling it is spitting and sputtering back firing. I thing the F engine is done.
After setting for 15 years it gave me 1 day of wheeling and begged to be put to rest. So time to desmog my spare 2F for next season.
