I'm noo expert but to me it looks like wind was blowing away the gas on you mig or your running out of gaswelp. My welds are pretty ugly. i stood on them and they didn’t move

I agree. I had a fan blowing to get rid of fumes. I turned the fan off and welds got better.

Skipping A LOT of work to post the glorious moment yesterday. Got Bluebird cruising again, 1st time since November. There is a list of small stuff to finish, but had to report.......AMAZING results!!! Steers, rides, and brakes better than it ever has and drives like a new truck up front. Drove for an hour to bleed power steering and bed the ceramic pads. Everything is great, super happy I did this mod. Thank you @dbbowen for this thread and all the continuous help getting questions answered, and thanks @TRAIL TAILOR for making this kit available.
List remaining:
-cruiser lean still in effect, need a coil spacer.
-Waiting for swaybar linkage hardware.
- install steering stabilizer (feels like its already there the steering is so good)
- make decision on tire size and lift height for sure. ( I was toying with the idea of 1 more inch)
- get castor numbers from alignment shop with my "template" factory radius arms and order correct Delta arms.
Such a great feeling.
I'll post more technical to add soon.

First version is +3 degrees over stock. Then I plan on +4.5 and +6 degree in standard and +1" longer versions. But the +3 is needed for my coil conversion customers and is the focus right now.

+3 is right where mine ended up needing. I got used delta arms that were +2 because they were a deal, but on the spec sheet from the alignment i still need a degree of caster. Id imagine the +3 is exactly what @4runner2FJ60 is going to need because he ended up with the same front springs as i used

@Nad Aitch That is for an 80 series. There is a difference between the converted 60 as far a lift values and castor. We both have over 3" of lift compared to stock 60. Also why it is highly recommended to go get actual castor numbers with OEM arms and no correction. Then you get what you need.

So the main difference is the coil swap kits have a little bit of caster correction in the frame side mounts. To be honest. I didn’t know the +2 caster arms did 3.5 but after it’s all said and done on my truck I’m 1* away from hitting the FSM caster spec for the 80 series. It’s not the end of the world though. I was planning on just throwing caster trunnion bearings in my knuckles to get that haha
