I'm surprised it's over 7 feet. Guess the old 55's stood tall! (Edit: Oh, it's the tent). Is that the rule with all shippers to Hawaii or the particular one you're using?

6 foot if loaded out of Oakland 7 foot if loaded out of LA

Regretting my decision of straight down i5 was gonna turn a bit ago and go to 101 but said it’s only 3 more hours we can do it. Girls are ready to be home I could do another 20k l, 56 hours in the car the last 84 hours I think I broke there spirit finally.

Yeah that’s a lot of seat time for anyone, however I’m sure they will look back very soon and realize just how amazing the trip was 😎
 
It’s a good sign when 6 out 6 start up after 3 months of not being touched. Glad we have a spare pig around. Shipping is all messed up right now with pasha and matson having ships down. 4 months wait to get my wife’s pig back in the islands. Guess she’ll have to go back to the original pig for now.

I hope they give you a discount for such a long wait! That's a big step up for your wife. You'd better get the VW running for her.

All shipping is that far behind right now. Just booked out with all the ships down. Nothing no one can do with the jones act only have the 2 carriers that ship here and since pasha pulled their biggest ship and mattson being out and dropping the routes from once a week to once a month it’s just a waiting game. Hopefully they get back up and running to normal speed they said by next year but you know how that goes here.

Yeah the wife doesn’t love jumping in this one that’s half the reason she got hers was tired of climbing into this one. Just have to carry a 4 foot step ladder and put it on a rope to pull in. Vw started up. Not idling great so going to see about cleaning the jets and see if that helps. But that was happening before we left. Runs great over 2k rpm but no low idle
 
What an amazing journey. I am very sorry to here about the cabin, I'm sure its heartbreaking but i know you will build it up again and continue to make memories there

Glad to hear your back home safe & sound, I’m sure the girls will be happy to sleep in their own beds for the next while 👍🏻
 
13 year anniversary today. Oldest picture I could find was 2016 with the yellow pig I know there’s some wedding photos around somewhere with it but not in my phone. The second one is the wedding arch I built of trees from our property and then moved to our house in eastern Oregon I think on our 7th anniversary and then 10 year here in Hawaii.
