Consider doing this before swapping shackles.

Not sureabout the actual height change but I have the rough country on mine too. been driven on for about two weeks and have taken through trails that flex it out pretty good. it has considerably softened up. rides as good as could expect now I think. guess I'm saying if you think its stiff, give it some time. it got much better than I thought it would. as far as height, the shackles have angled out more over time but don't know hoe much it has actually sagged.

Problem easy solved. Load the entire truck with as much beer as you possible can, preferably GOOD beer perhaps Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, and drive to everyones house that has commented on this thread and deliver each one a case. By the time you get home it will fit in the garage just fine. Your Welcome and please chill mine :)

A most excellent idea!

Put $OR's oil return kit on as cheap insurance. I also put the 2.75 anti inversion shackles on. They did real well in front and terrible in the rear. I thought I'd put the 40 up on some rocks to see how it was flexing. The front did real well.

The back, not so much.

I also took the doors off since I'm still 1.5" too tall to put the top on and put it in the garage.

Took the hubcaps off too, I think it looks a lot meaner.

I'll give the rear springs a couple good work outs, then I'll either pull a leaf or put the old leaves on with the longer shackles to keep it level. *Any other ideas?

give it time! i looked at some of my older pictures and my truck has definitely settled - i drove 1200 miles with the back full of stuff.. about 200-300 lbs of tools etc. and i think that helped mine out a lot.

I love solid black wheels.

Still looks like u could use 500lbs in the back

Springs settle at all? I have mine sitting on opposite side ramps just like the picture at the top of this page. If this doesn't work I will look at getting different shackles. Front is much better than rear, just like yours. I also put about 200lb of weights in the back as well.

I was thinking of getting the 4 inch rough country lift and was wondering how happy you guys are with it overall. I have heard stories of the leafs bein short but the price looks good to me.
