I searched and contacted all the shops I could think of, looking for 300M rear axles, anyone found them or running them now? and will these handle highway?

Jack from CTM - give them a call. Open your wallet. You may need to go double splined shafts with a drive flange but it's all doable baby.
Im already on it, I got new drives for front as well. this sucked twisting an axle 2300miles form home. to boot.

Are you breaking 4130 axles?
Through Jack?
I think so sent an email to CTM, hoping to hear back sooner than later. my original axles look a hell of a lot thicker than the nitros, nitro twisted up bad. and all I was doing was imogene pass, nothing radical at all. And I dont beat on the truck really. I crawl I dont #sendit . Nitro did finally after 10 days send a replacement but its in colorado Im in Boston so it dosent really help. drove home a week early because I was afraid to drive ofroad on an already twisted axle.

Mark Williams should be able to make them. Nitro sells 32 spline shafts which would be pretty strong.
Im not fond of Nitro anymore, at all.

What made you check and find out that the Nitro was twisted?

Rear Pinion bearing went nuclear. So I got out of Ouray drove it to Moab Motorsports and Rory let me use a spot in the shop to pull out my 3rd member repalce pinion bearing seal etc. and I pulled out axles to remove 3rd and saw it. otherwise I would have kept wheeling the trails and probably broke it off entirely

In Australia but they do 300M rears for the 80 PJ's Off Road
Lol I already hit them up as well. Im on it now. LOL nitro in background The axles I replaced with nitro in foreground.

We will soon have 300M axles in stock from RCV. Kit would be $1k for both axle shafts (work for non elocker and elockers) with drive flanges and extra dowel with drill bit should you want to add more dowels. Axles are also designed to be removable if splines twist in an e-locker diff.
I hoped you would have them we are talking rears correct? because I found RCV front in 300M already. my truck needs more slee and sadly less nitro, and thats after putting ALL Nitro all the way around spent a day in the desert dealing with the axle, then a day in boston repalcing with original rear axles, lots of royal purple beng wasted here.

Now you guys have me worried I’m going to have to pull mine and see what they look like as they get wheeled pretty hard.

the axles I HAD and now have IN again are perfect, I swapped because I thought weak link nitro is beter wrong. nitro makes axles with LOOOONNNGGG splines that can be cut for 60, 40 or 80s thats the weak spot. my axles are made for 80 series.

My stock one's are perfect as well. I put down my hard eared money on the Nitro's thinking they were a up grade ? Running the RCV up front.

well I found several places that have 300M for the rear and drive flanges with upgraded dowels etc. RCV birfields and axles in 300M are the way to go. My only concern sort of is now something else down the line will need to give. BUT I crawl mostly not a speed demon per se not on trails. Never had an axle issue till nitros.

I run the RCV 300m up front with a part time kit to help them live longer. And nitro rears. Post a link for the 300m rears you found
