Thanks, what kind of loads will it take before collapsing?
It depends upon which direction the panel is supported. If it's supported with the channels perpendicular to the support, it'll hold an awful lot of weight depending upon thickness of the panel.
If the panel direction is parallel to the support, not much at all.
It works the same as if you were working with corrugated cardboard boxes. They fold very easy in one direction and not so easy folding 90°.
I would venture with a 1/2" - 1" thick, 48" x 48" sheet with three cross bars should have no problem holding a packed 85 qt fridge, large Pelican cases and anything else you can load to the top of your interior with.
See if you can get a 12" x 12" in different thicknesses or something small to do some testing with.
You can frame it with T-slot aluminum extrusions. Amazon.com : t slot aluminum extrusion - https://www.amazon.com/s?k=t+slot+aluminum+extrusion&crid=36XPQW6GNZF3O&sprefix=t-slot+extrusion%2Caps%2C182&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_1_16

At Discount Tire trying to rebalance the tires and they are cupped and will probably need to be replaced.

Absolutely gutted. I rotated 3 times in 15k miles

Will be running the factory wheels and all seasons for the foreseeable future. I should receive my bonus in September and will look at options then. I may say f-it, get it lifted and go bigger, already been eyeing tires between 33-34".

Also going to keep working on my seat delete platform as well as probably adding more sound proofing so I can wafte along like a gentle fart. 💩

I see you have the 3 climate zones. That'll help keep all your gear back there nice and comfortable! :p

how has the ride changed since going back to the stock wheels - better?

Definitely better and it's super quiet on new, non scored pavement. I only ran the MTRs since about March this year.

I wasn't going to be able to hit any real trails this year due to my partners crappy job and I don't want to tear my truck up at an offroad park. I did that when I was younger. So I will
Keep working on little things here and there until I have a clearer picture where we are moving to for them
To goto law school. Between the Front Range in Colorado, Minneapolis or Madison.

cool man. good to know. enjoy the smooth ride. i am considering switching from my E rated 33s to some P rated tires soon. i barely go offroad anymore (2 kids under 2 years old) and think id enjoy the smoother ride now that i am an old decrepit man (34 years old). can always throw LT tires back on when there is more time for offroading in a couple years

I ran yoko g015 255/75/17s on my rubicon without issues for light offroading.

Also consider Bridgestone Dueler Revo 3 and Firestone Destination XT as they are both physically lighter LT tires. I know the revos are great on road, I don't think the Firestones are a swell mannered but definitely better than where we were both coming from.

There is definitely options either way.

I cut my 4'x4' plywood at 42" and have tossed it in the back. Got rid of my creaking

Can confirm the false floor quieted things down, just have to decide how long I am going to make it.

Apparently having a bad month for tires, one of my all seasons on my OEM wheels has a leak. I really want to replace these tires and not buy another one. 🤬

My Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 265/70/17 have just passed 36k miles and are still in fantastic shape with plenty of tread. Great offroad and all surface tires minus ice (duh). I highly recommend them.

I have a short list for tires, but they weren't in my budget until September when I get my bonus. Otherwise I will have to move things around and get into stuff I would prefer not to. I had some unplanned expenses last summer that are still affecting my weekly budget, unfortunately.

I am planning on running by discount and if it's properly bad I will put the mud terrains back on and just make sure the least cupped tires are in front

Confirmed through the sidewall. I have the spare on right now. Not even going to bother going to Discount. Going to swear a lot then try to strategically place my MTRs to minimize the effects of the cupping

Called around and found some LT28570R17 Revo3s. It was between that and AT KOs and figured the Revos would have better road manners and mid to late life traction

Can you either plug the leak or a can of sealant?

Nope, it was in the worst possible place. I just dropped off my wheels with the MTRs on them and will have the Revos on around 3ish

I ran the older ones on my 5 lugs and my mom had them on her 4Runner when she worked for the USDA and had to drive down into fields. They had been on my short list since I was starting to be more realistic about what kind of shoes my car should actually have.

Rides great super quiet and they are E load range
