cool man. good to know. enjoy the smooth ride. i am considering switching from my E rated 33s to some P rated tires soon. i barely go offroad anymore (2 kids under 2 years old) and think id enjoy the smoother ride now that i am an old decrepit man (34 years old). can always throw LT tires back on when there is more time for offroading in a couple years
I ended up getting 10 ply revo 3s in 285/70R17 and am blown away by how well mannered they are for that load range tire. Got them on sale so it was 1506 with tax out the door.

Making the depth cut on my floor tonight. I want to he able to put in the second row without removing the platform and I may make something additional that has some sort of quick release from parts I have lying around (2 heavy duty quick release sheer pins rated very high from the Air Force)
To cover all the steel or sound damping measure roughly 42 x 30 and it will just go past the Ridge and the open spots in the carpet.

If so, kudos! I imagine it's a headache having to put everything away at the end of your day working on your project and then pull it all out again to continue the next day.
I did a valve job on my old 1974 2002 BMW when we were fist married and lived in an apartment with only a carport and front hanging storage. It was a pain putting everything away every time is finished for the day.

Yes, I keep the jig saw case in my truck and hid my random orbit sander amongst my pile of crap. It's moderately secured and facilities never cleans up after themselves, so at least this way the garage smells nice from the pine.
I live in an apartment downtown and the first floor is a parking garage. It's actually been great for getting to know my tire placement.
We have two stalls next to each other and the car on my other side is in and out. Mostly young twenty somethings who are always out doing things. With the cost of the garage by mid summer most people will give up their garages.
I am going to cover this with dynadeck and then figure out tie downs. Used a countersink 40mm m10x1.25 with a zinc coating because the bottoms of the factory bolts had oxidation and shmutz.
When I fully tightened it it really suckeddown on the sound deadening.
It may stay like this for some time as I have a Husky loner floor liner have been keeping on top of it while I continue to use the vehicle.
After that I will try to get a piece of aluminum to covet the cable loom and also give a piece to slide stuff in and out on.

That's definitely a possible solution. I might get a piece custom bent in aluminum to have something that stuff can slide on that won't gouge like plastics do. That's what I am thinking right now, and just screw it into the wood through the DynaDeck and have that be one of the anchor points for the dyna deck
Truck is very different with the Revos, the Bilsteins and the extra height front and rear. Really love how much better it felt offroad. You could really feel the kdss working and I felt like there was a synergistic response with the Bilsteins and the KDSS.

Love it when as soon as a MUD'er gets some new mod's, they go out and test it, not just using it for mall runs and soccer fields.
