Which steel wheels are on your 79? Toyota OEM? What size? (or part #?) I'd love a set myself for my GRJ76.

They bolt right on with no issues or rubbing. No need for spacers, but I ran 2.5" spacers in the rear so the track matched the front.
Yes it is. After nearly 3 years of owning it, but sparingly used, I sold it last week. While it is great truck, and I enjoyed it immensely on several trips that we did, there was something about it that was lacking. Maybe its the harsh ride and long turning radius. Also, with a young family, I want to start taking them on trips, and they always prefer to ride in the 62 or 80, so I know the 79 wont see much action. It was time to move on. I got a great price and sold it to an interesting fella, so its in good hands.
This is the last pic I have of it on file.
Till then.

Thanks.@coldtaco we're looking at 5.2m length and a 3.1m wheelbase
how did you find the 900r16s? Im considering a 3" lift and something about that size with an HZJ79 but i'm concerned about rubbing and fitting in inside the rear of a factory box
