76 series dash wiring colour query

Hey all

I have a 1991 1hz Troop and I just replaced the head unit and I can’t determine the colours of the wiring or find accurate info anywhere… I’m not sure if it’s been modded but if anyone has any experience I’d be super greateful.

I can’t locate the illumination wire or the reverse cable signal, in particular…

Hello,

The head uses a 10-pin plug. Speakers use two-pin plugs.

The 10-pin plug setup is

4 -3 ----- 2 1
10-9-8-7-6-5

The pins are

1. To LH speaker: light green wire.
2. To RH speaker: pink wire.
3. From the CIG fuse: gray wire.
4. From the DOME fuse (lighting): blue-yellow wire.
5. To RH speaker: blue wire.
6. To LH speaker: violet wire.
7. Ground: brown wire.
8. N/A.
9. N/A.
10. From the TAIL fuse: black wire.

LH speaker uses pink wire and violet wire.

RH speaker uses light green wire and blue wire
