hi guys anyone experienced the rear factory diff lock light on dash illuminating faintly after around an hour of driving. have confirmed diff lock isn’t engaged it’s just the light that’s the issue

if o knew i would tell you. that’s why i have asked if anyone has experienced this and found the issue

might be starting to ground out somewhere and your getting a trickle of power through it

it’s an electric diff lock so it’s either open or locked
the diff isn’t locked when the light is faintly on it must be a wiring issue
LSD diffs are completely different as they use a clutch pack not a locking section so it’s impossible to have both

i followed up my funny with a serious suggestion,,, i guess you dont reciprocate.

Hello,

It may be either a peeled wire or a poor ground.

Get a wiring diagram and check the wiring and your grounds.

Ended up being a faulty indicator switch in Diff centre
