Anyone know what rims these are originally for? 100 series? They look 16" and 5 bolts.

Just wondering what LC they originally came mounted on, and if they're 16X6 or 16X7?

Cheers

They come on the Aus badged "rv" 105 series which is like the gxl inside and std outside spec model

Thanks Reiti and Clint.

I went down to the dealer and they said 42601-60610 has been replaced with 42601-60611. I asked the counterman if its the same exact rim with a different part no. or its a different rim altogether but he was unable to answer me nor pull up a pic/diagram. All he knows is the part no. has changed. They're not available in stock and needs to be ordered from Japan.

Anyone know if its the same rim? Checked toydiy and the site does not recognize the number.

Yeah, usually if Toyodiy does not show it, it usually means that it is just a new/superseded part number. Since it is only one number off, there is a good chance that it is the same type b wheel. :meh:

Drop Beno a line, he is pretty savvy with part numbers;)

Toyota has only two different steel rims in 16x6,5, the one on the picture above with the mentioned part number and another one with a lot of round holes around (42601-60620), similar to FJCruiser steelies.

The counterman should be able to find your rim, even if the part number had been changed (which would be new to me).

May be it would be an option to contact another Toyota parts dealer?

Thanks fellas. There is only one local dealer here and he's massive, probably the biggest in the world at +300k cars annually, so the service there is a little impersonal and everyone is impatient as they deal with the throngs of customers all vying for attention.

Just sent Beno a PM hoping he can shed light on this

Thanks to Beno and Reiti, I pulled the trigger on the superseded number 42601-60611 for one rim only, just to try it out.

It came 3 weeks later from Japan.

Mounted some new Michelin XL 255/100/16 tires right up, and it fit, and turns at full lock both ways on a 2" lifted 7x series no problem.

Went right back to the dealer to order up the remaining 4 rims:beer:

Nice clean lookPost pics of when you get them all mounted!
