Just to clarify, when I meant the 79 DC rides better and softer than the 76, I am referring to both set ups in lifted 2" OME mode, and not in stock trim. In stock trim, with its 13 lead packs, the 79 DC is horrible compared to the 76 with its 7 lead packs in the rear. Now I am running 400kgs (CS014R OME P/N) springs, and those are much nicer and plusher than the 76 OME rear springs in medium rating. So if you're going to keep the rig's suspension stock, then yes the 76 is better. Also maybe you may want the short turning radius. How are the roads and trails in Japan? If narrow and tight, then you'll love the 76 turning radius.
@Blown3UR your 80 is looking good Mashallah. Love the sleek stockish look. Is your PTO under the license plate?
As for the 76, any chance you can test drive it before you decide? Its all a matter of personal taste and needs really, and I don't want to turn you off your decision. I dont want to be the guy!
Man I would love to see the Toyota guy's garage. All diesel cruisers is sweet. Especially the 80 HDT. Is it manual and LHD? I know the owner and the sons of ALJ here very well, and none of them are into cruisers. I'll definitely hit you up next time I'm in Doha.
I just bought a factory replacement winch bumper and a 79 series winch cover (had it lying around in the store and just thought I'd put it to use).
Nice trucks.
Is that yours for sale on Haraj.com?
