Tommy, do you by chance have the EWD of a troopy?

Also use hose clamps that don’t score the rubber. They are much better.

Or you could just buy one from Espar 😉

The did not provide with the kit unfortunately… the Stan pipe needed to be fitted in my Long Ranger tank and normally those go into a plastic tank inside the vehicle

Thanks for the link

I don’t use EWD no but I am getting POD for the turbo

Thanks. I'm using a wire loom from a Euro 73 and some connectors are just a mystery. Also, How high is your cabinet on the passenger side and how wide is the counter top. I'm trying to sort a National Luna fridge, but want it built in similar to my 80 series.

Ofer,

It’s 18 inch wide without the counter top I haven’t I started to woodwork

Height is 25 inches without the frame for now so 26 inch once welded

I have been putting together IMUA leaving the cabinet aside for next fall, I realize my transfert case don't engage but I do have power 12V.... I am trying to trouble shoot what could be the problem... any suggestion?

I’m not familiar. Is it a servo like the 80 series? If so I’ve taken a bunch of them apart. Some fail because the contacts inside rust. Some have motor rusted.

I realize this sucks, because the connector on the transfer is not ideal to reach, but I would confirm the switched power is reaching the TC. Double check the 4WD switch on the dash is connected properly first. Could be a bad solenoid as well.

Last resort, if all that checks out, then pull and service or replace the servo motor on the TC. Manual engagement with LO works ok? Nothing binding/stuck?

Best of luck!

Today I tested several options, unplug the transfert H4 to see if was connected and tested the current worked
The Selenoid was changed last summer hoever one connector doesn't clip proper but is in completly
Manual engagement work high and low but not rotation.... I have not seen anything ostructin too...
I had a brand new wire transmission cable + some new switch the only one not change is the
8422260041SWITCH, TRANSFER INDICATOR, NO.1

Not sure what to do now you think the servo motor could be toasted? are you refering to the DIAPHRAGM CYLINDER & TRANSFER VACUUM ACTUATOR?

Thanks for the help

Is this a vacuum actuated split case? If so it could be that your VSV's are bad or are not getting enough vacuum.

Yes. I am sorry for asking, but I have learned to never assume, but I am assuming (🤣) you are testing this with the engine running as well? It will not work without the power AND a vacuum source. You can mimic the vacuum with a manual pump. Could just be a disconnected or leaky vacuum line as well. You can test that with a pump as well.

Last resort if all tests well is to pull the actuator and investigate if it is sticking.

Hey Brother! I have put the truck on my small hoist and made all test while the engine is running... The 4x4 greenlight doesn't light in the dash as well... I will check all hose tomorrow but the only hose we did disconnect are the rear fuel tanks...

I would highly recommend using a hand vacuum pump on the two diaphragm ports on the transfer case like @Rigster suggested, that way you can confirm the transfer case works and the problem is elsewhere. No dash light indicates to me that the transfer case isn't getting vacuum, since the light is only triggered when the shift fork engages the front output shaft.

These are the two hoses; vacuum applied to one should shift into 4WD, vacuum to the other shifts back to 2WD:

Thanks Brother, I need to find hand vacuum pump this narrow it down pretty much because nothing engages and there's powert and continuity...

Do you have recommandation for. hand vacuum pump @Rigster ?

This is what I have, bought it at Harbor Freight. Works great for all kinds of vacuum testing and bleeding.

I was planning to get a new TC because the spare Transmission I have is not the same as on the LC78... Put I still want to wheel this summer and go to Alaska
