New 285/70 nittos, westcott preload lift and westcott heritage edition rack. Hopefully Buildbuilt sliders will be in soon

Would you mind sharing more detailed photos of the westcott roof rack? PM is fine, too. I reached out to them about building a rack like this for my Nori GX since it has the LC Prado raised roof rails like the 200. They declined so I’d like to try to tackle this on my own. TIA.

Turns out, 200's make great egg hiding spots.

Tonight we explored some old mines near the house.

Does everyone in Dubai wear the same clothes? Honest question :o

I have a few snaps of your rig from July of last year being loaded up at Slee -epic build, love the clean look of no swings out or Bull bar.

That's too funny. Yeah, the good folks at Slee finished the project. Haven't had an issue with anything yet. I wanted swingouts but stuck to the rule of building how you drive it 90% of the time, not the other 10%, and so far I'm really glad I did that. With two dogs in the cargo area, swingouts are a pain in the ass. That said, I might buy a hitch mounted swingout for trips where I really need the clearance.

She's going to get a proper workout on a multi-day trip next weekend that should utilize everything from locker to slider, so we'll see! Going to throw a few fuel cells on and that's about it. Will be a good test to see if I need Timbrens on the rear and to see how the IFS performs, as I've only done this trail in a really well equipped 85 4runner.

That’s a very reasonable approach. My 2015 has become something of a runaway project, but seeing as it only does adventure travel and doesn’t “need” be a daily driver it’s sort of working out brilliantly haha.

Did slee fit the tires for you? I would love to run something bigger than what I have (33s) but I like my steel wheels and can’t find a reasonable size 18 inch tire that doesn’t require a whole lot of “massaging”

Curious to hear how that size has worked for you

You going for something like this?

Very similar. Love the top. Is it removable? The plan for now is to keep the bed open so I can put my 4 wheeler in. The tent rack I've designed will lower so I can get it back in the garage. I have a large 60" square tool box which will be bolted down near front for all my camping gear, etc. And I'm mounting 25 gallon water storage/bladder on the underside.

Spotted on my way to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument at the beginning of April with a nice @TRAIL TAILOR front/rear bumpers and sliders during pitstop at Costco. I had the white 100 series with roof top tent and TT rear bumper.
