Daily Driver Update:
So the local method dealer contacted me and gave me a kick ass deal on the new 701 wheels. I chose to go with the black mate and decided to pair them with yokohama geolanders (265/70/17) didn't want a big tire. I was surprised at how light these new wheels are!, much much lighter then the steel wheels I have had before and also lighter then the stock 18 inch. With the yokohama 265s its a very light combo. (Unsprung weight is not an issue anymore).
I went with the yokohama tires since the tread pattern was not as aggressive as the bf ko2s since I was not planning on offroading this thing anywhere else then soft sand. and also mainly because it is a daily driver and the lighter tread pattern is much more road friendly. The tire is also much softer when compared too the KO2s, less puncture resistance but better ride quality on washboard which was my goal. I digress, but this combo turned out very well. Im really happy with the current setup and with the "cadilac" valving on the kings its very enjoyable to drive around the city, in love with the new valving very plush.
My brother needed to replace the stock wheels on his 18 lx so he decided to take my old wheels and tires. He gutted his hydraulics and installed radflos, tried to convince him to go with KINGS! but he didn't listen. He ended up taking the radflos from the backyard. I guess wise choice since he doesn't really care about achieving the 100% best ride ever, his not a ride quality maniac like me. Plus the radflos were just sitting there unused.
