Wonder what's going in there?!? Almost looks like there's room for an auxiliary gas tank there... Going to delete the resonator while the patient is open?

You be red hot!

Going half-cow mode (2 stomachs)...

this is awesome, congrats Markuson, where are you having the work done. I am in Orange County and may need to visit the Dr soon. Can you ask them if the half cow is possible if you are still running a full size tire (33.5) in the stock spare tire location.

You can do a 3/8th cow with spare, but not 1/2 or 3/4 cow with spare.

can you Kindly pass along the info on the company you used to purchase and installation. My email is milaadf at iCloud dot com

New revalve, however this time I had to try something unique and it worked out great!. My goals were to make the shock damping curve more progressive on compression. I wanted to make the shock absorb small bumps like washboard and low force terrain better so I replaced the low end shims with much thinner ones, and added doubled shims on the top end for bottoming control, however I didn't just add thicker shims, that's to generic had to try something new, so I decided to add doubled soft shims, the rule of thumb is more thinner shims will have a smoother stiffness feel then less thicker shims. Definitely the case here it was riding much smoother.

Compression Stack:

#1 0.12 (Low Speed)
#2 0.12 (Low Speed)
#3 0.12 (Mid Speed)
#4 0.12 X2 Doubled (Mid Speed)
#5 0.12 X2 Doubled (High Speed)
#6 0.12 X2 Doubled (High speed)

Before revalve it was a straight 0.20 stack which is the thickest shim available*

Rebound Stack:

#1 0.15
#2 0.15
#3 0.15
#4 0.15
#5 0.15
#6 0.15

Picture of the coilover with the foam bump stop(custom option) for bottoming control:

Picture of the coilover internals you can clearly see the rebound stack on top:

Video of a big hit test( the top end shims clearly kicked in here, felt very smooth and controlled, slow mo didn't work though apologies):

This just in regarding big tires:

I am now officially RUB FREE with my 35x12.5x17 Ridge grapplers. Wooo!
:bounce::clap::santa::clap::bounce2::steer:

How:
- @sleeoffroad relo bracket...
- Bora .75” spacers (shout out to @Willy beamin )
-Forward adjust during alignment
-Addition cutting of skirt and heat gun reshape of a couple engine bay splash guards

No cosmetic issues whatsoever on the trimming btw.

Do you know how much positive caster you add with your UCAs? I know SPC defaults to +1. The alignment guy set mine to +2 and went from there. I don't rub the KDSS but I do rub the PS sway bar. I'm already at >4 deg caster on the PS so I don't really want to go higher since I'm already above factory spec. I would've expected to easily clear the sway bar since your +50 RWs with 3/4" spacers should be around +31.25mm, and I'm already at +25mm offset with my Icon wheels, and we have the same tire but mine is 1" smaller so I would totally expect to have *less* rubbing than you do, not more.

We did some forest trails in Michigan's UP around the 4th. Mostly muddy with a few trees. I did chicken out at a fork on one stretch where the mud "puddle" was about 20' wide (well over the road) and 15-20' long - the kids tried to goad me on but I didn't want to walk it to see how deep it was, and after hiking through quicksand earlier in the day I didn't want to get stuck on a trail deep in the woods. Unfortunately the winch isn't getting installed until next week.

Wife drove the last trail of the day. Really pretty tame, aside from one tree we crawled over (around the 12:00 mark) and the mosquitoes which ate the **** out of me the instant I got out of the truck (around 4:30 if you want to laugh at my sorry ass). I had to get out and spot a few times because we had the kayaks on the roof.

Apologies for the video length, just got the GoPro and haven't had much time to play with the editing software. Running the boring bits in 8x was making it glitchy so I gave up and just chopped out the parts where I cleared some brush.

And a couple random shots while we were exploring the UP:

Just created a membership to get an idea of what the 200 series looks like modified. We don't have one yet but getting this next Spring. Getting rid of the 2008 4Rnr now that my wife seen one next to a 5th gen 4Rnr. She doesn't think they're as large as before...plus she won't drive anything smaller than a V8.

Added a couple pics of the 2018 4Runner...just got it's supercharger installed this weekend.
