I have finally gotten off my ass and started in on my latest FZJ70.

I bought this one in a few months ago and have been too busy to mess with it.

@Meshal found this gem up in the dry mountains. Ex .gov truck. 115,000 km or 70,000 miles.

I pulled the split rims off the other day and installed some 33's I had as a take off from a project 40 so I could put some miles on it to see if it's sound

We also installed some cool period correct stripes before it left Saudi.

The truck got all new weatherstrip all around, some paint correction and new locks/keys.

Looking at my notes we did about $3500 in OEM parts and $2000 in paint work

This thing is wicked fast. We had the carb rebuilt before it left Rhiahd by the same dude that has done all of my other trucks and damn. He did something special to this one. The secondary literally explodes when you floor it. I actually chickened out and stopped the speed here. I bet it has 170-175 in it

While I'm waiting for the slow ass DMV here in Mississippi to get me a clean title I'm going to do a few things to it to make it ready for resale.

First up is a Terrain Tamer parabolic suspension

Got a nice bunch of Saudi trucks in the house right now

Pulled it in about 2 and got busy

Look how rust free and clean this thing is. Truly amazing

Rear is in place and I'll do the front tomorrow. Can't wait to see how it sits

My caption is wrong. This thing has 114,000 km which is closer to 70,000

Here is a video I made for the guy that said he wanted it so I imported it for him.

Then he ghosted me. He offered to give me a deposit and I mistakenly trusted him.

Oh well, his lost.

The no airbag guy?

this one along with @LDowney truck are the cleanest shories i tried. both of them had bad shocks but they are solid as a rock with no noises.

from my side, all parts were oem except the stripes are high quality after market.

Whoever is going to buy it gonna be happy.
Meshal,
You are proven miracle. I have confidence that you can find more exceptionally clean trucks. Watching eagerly from the sidelines at what you find next. Kudos to you sir.

Got the front installed with some new swaybar links.

Look how crazy clean this hardware is. The washers were still gold

This is the swaybar ends I use. They sell at Auto Zone and they fit 70s and 60s.

The Terrain Tamer steering dampener comes pre assembled on the ends with grease zerks. Very nice.

This is what i went from to (silver)

3" front and 4" rear

Those wheel wells are begging for some 35x10.5 kanati mud hogs! Looks fantastic. Rad truck. Do they have clean 73's like this in Saudi?

@Meshal has one at the moment. Very rare over there. I think it's a carbed 1FZ factory soft top.
