Assuming it’s never been changed, my sad 27yr old windshield needs to be replaced.

It’s an OEM piece of glass, no way for me to know if it has ever been done. Sadly, OEM glass is NLA now.

Cheers

@SNLC is it worth removing a front glass in good condition from a Used truck and putting that one on or is it best to get a new made from fuyao

Mine is not in very good condition. A crack and lots of rock chips.

I suppose a guy could try if he really wanted OEM glass.

Cheers

I purchased part 56111-60200 for my last truck. It's a green tint on top from a diesel 80 if I recall. No issues with fitment and is OEM.

You must have done that six months to a year ago. I am 99.9% sure all OEM windshield glass is NLA now. About 14 month’s ago I bought a new OEM windshield too. Six months later, no more.

Cheers

Bummer.

So is there a consensus on which aftermarket glass to go with?

Had the oil cooler laying around for awhile so decided to toss it in. Doing something with the exhaust manifolds as well.

Got the HVAC system all ready to reinstall. Flushed, pressure tested and fix the heater core hard line that was deformed. I just need the firewall grommets and the thermistor to finish it off.

Started making my mounts/brackets for the sub amp and mount for the amp circuit breaker.

Cheers

Getting dash pieces ready to install.

Is this a all new parts build or are you cleaning / refurb parts and putting them back?

Both.

Dash/dash pad is not new, it is NLA. A lot of trim, dash vents, ect are new.

Cheers

Just about wrapped up on sub amp.

Seems I only did the drivers window run, must have been last winter. I had the other three in my stash and the drivers is not hard and crusty. 🤷🏼‍♂️ We do these fairly often so didn’t recall if I had done them or not. So did the other three.

That is not scratches at the bottom on the window frame. It is some weird reflection, I took the pic twice and it’s still there. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Cheers
