Man more and more I want to do an Idaho trip and stay in Boise. Looks like there are a ton of good trails all 30min-1hr of town.

Went wheeling and camping over the weekend at a favorite spot here in Idaho.

My buddies Heep overheating on the way up Friday afternoon.

Always a fun trail to run at night.

Spent Saturday wheeling on the trails in the area.

This side by side rolled on one of the nastiest sections of trail up there.

I took mostly videos vs pictures. The good stuff didn’t turn out because of where I was mounting my GoPro on the Cruiser and tree limbs taking it out.

Here is coming down today though through one of the difficult sections of trail. It’s really gotten torn up in here the last 3yrs or so. First time I came up this was in 2018 in a unlifted non-locked Cruiser with street tires. Absolutely not doing that now!



I actually crunched my rear LHS quarter in this section three or four years ago. Coming up the trail if you get off line you can get all side ways in the trench of a trail, right before the waterfall. There used to also be a boulder right in the middle of the trail for your front diff to get stuck on.

I should have known on the Goodyears, friggin MTRs I had 15yrs ago had crap sidewalks too.

Great tire, except the sidewalls suck!

Lost this tire at 60mph just coming out of a turn, the beadlock made it a pretty mellow blow out.

Rather than buy four new tires *cough* Nitto *cough* I just replaced the bad one.

Finished a massive build last week. The customer flew into town and we went on a two days off road and camping trip. It was awesome for middle of February and I have never been able to run this trail that time of year. Was really warm too, two days later and it’s all snowed in now, can’t get in there this weekend.

So in the next couple months I will be preparing my 95’ green 80 for sale!

Was just looking at Cruisers for sale across the west coast. Not on FB, I don't use FB. Any ways, wow people want a lot for their 80-series these days!!

Not a one I saw out of dozens comes close to my Cruiser. While some have nice paint or interior, none have the amount of new parts mine does. Not to mention I put a fair amount of parts into my Cruiser, new OEM parts that are now no longer available.

Mine sure will make a nice turn key Cruiser for somebody when I put it up for sale! I am probably going to miss it a bit too.

I guess I do have another 80 though, not the pickup chop a different one!

It is actually an LX450. I got a coil pack 1FZFE for it though. I plan to install that into it with a manual 5spd trans too. Most of my time & effort though is going into the new 77-series and my 80 pickup.
