I had to

Repair the metal frame, prime and paint
remove handles and polish out the glass (more time than you may think)
new runner felt
new exterior weather strip
new interior molding
Stick it in place and pray that it stays.

All documented on the Warhorse build thread

thanks.
I've been reading some more on the subject.
About how much is reasonable to pay for set of windows and the rebuild parts?
$400 for the 'well used' set on Cruiser Parts seems a bit steep, considering needing a rebuild.
Best way is to buy from AUS, then rebuild yourself.

Is this an ARB plate holder or homemade? It's made well.
I can't find another one online.

That is indeed an ARB plate holder.

Got the rear axle seal changed...so far so good.

Got the rear center inside cover for the hatch too. Its very slowly coming together.

Now its time to update/re design my air intake system......let me see some ideas with LS swaps (involving 62/80 air cleaners or not) and maybe some parts lists?

I may or may not keep the snorkle, so go......

Noticed a few drips of oil on the concrete, from 2 separate leaks. If you were guessing.....oil pan gasket? I cleaned the area good and get these 2 specific leak points. With the engine running, I can see the oil gather and drip down on this bolt beside the oil filter and on the lowest nub of the trans adapter.. This is an LS, not a 2F.

My 5.3 leaks just a little from the oil cooler block off plate. I have fixed it three times and it still drips...

Thanks. I may change the oil pan gasket and the cooler gasket at the same time.

Also, since my tach doesn't work, and IPOR crammed the ECU in a real tough spot, I just got a scan gauge. Works pretty good. I don't have a speed sensor, so not all functions work. And my MPGs are horrible, I don't even want to know.
