I am so sick of putting away Cruisers until the crap is off the roads. All I can do is sit in them and pretend to be driving like a 7 year old would.
Not all bad really, being a kid is where it's at.

Your truck is looking way cool. Great rig
me too me too

just noticed the cyclops for some reason

Thanks! Yeah thankfully we have pretty mild winters here lately and not a lot of ice so not a ton of mag chloride and all the snow is gone after a few days. It’s supposed to be 47 tomorrow.
I’m sick of winter already as well…

Yeah, my light brackets go backwards so that the lights are tucked into the ARB, not in front of it. The problem is it doesn’t fit with the winch and I’ve been too lazy to put them both on pushed in front of the bumper. Not sure how that would look….probably better than cyclops 😂

So broken windshield washer nozzle. Any fast/cheap part store replacemt?
Not cheap, but could be fast. I've got these that I've been holding onto because I don't want to destroy my hood insulator to install. They were $18.29 apiece.

$30 shipped and they're yours.

According to my order history and my fuzzy memory, I also have two of these...just need to find where I stashed them as they're not with the nozzles...

Early hoods have larger holes and use the bushings.

Still haven't found the bushing parts, but did fine these on my workbench...🤷‍♂️

Found the grommet/bushing parts, replied to your PM.

Easy fix, thanks to @Owyhee Jackass he hooked me up with some used nozzles and new nozzle holders.

I tried the Honda one, no chance of it fitting in the hood at all. Way too big.

Also I was having a vibration above 55 that seemed to be getting worse. I could move the rear ujoint just slightly. Called up @cruiseroutfit and got another rear Matsuba.

I just replaced those joints 30,000 miles ago so I’m not sure why the one went bad. Replaced it and all smooth now.

Also, Ive met @Owyhee Jackass when I bought my pig from @CruiserKen back in 2003/4

Glad it worked out. And Cruiser Ken has since transitioned and is now @MOTOV8R ...

Yeah at the time ih8mud wouldn’t let you change the name on your account, that policy has since changed. Nice use of transition. That 55 was once of my favorite cruisers. Did it ever get back on the road after the roll?

Never back on road on its own power, its parts got spread all over mud and helped plenty of other cruisers. Looking back, I wish I would have bought a 40 something and swap everything on to that. Live and learn.

Minor updates.

This leak has started. I believe it’s just an O-ring under that bracket. Is this just a take it a seal/bearing place and match it or does this part actually still exist at Toyota?

Also had a small coolant drip, found out it was just a loos-ish hose clamp on the water pump. It blows small drips all over in that spot so hard to find.

Random photos from cruising…

As the great Kendrick Lamar would say… “they not like us”

TroopER and the Jeep in back

This RHD Pajero 3 blocks from those other cars.

Now, that brick building is the Post office so I’m guessing that’s a new rural carrier rig. Much cooler than the jeeps. I believe it was a gasser. I’m 1/2 tempted to 1up them and sign up for a rural route 😂 but then I would have to regretfully say yes to all those mail carrier questions….

Took the dogs to the dog wash since they were absolutely covered in dirt/grass and whatever farm dogs find to roll in. Pulled up and had to park by this. Beautiful shape, but I couldn’t get too close of a look because I had the dogs.

And of course, I wasn’t in the cruiser but man isn’t that license play speaking truth.

Every time I'm at Autozone some 50-60 year old guy will come up to me and say "Cool truck, I had one too!" and then shows me a photo of a mid 90s Trooper. Every time.
