I was able to put the gauges above the radio without cutting the bezel. just trimmed the back a little . Tight fit!!!!!

Looks really good Alberto!

Thanks, Pete!

Looks great ! are you leaving the oil filter up or are you changing the position to point down ?

The filter is staying in its stock location. Rotating it would imply sourcing a new (or used) oil cooler cover with the bracket to face the other direction. It is not bad at all, though it was one of the factors I considered when mounting the EGT probe. :hillbilly:

Hadn't heard from you in a while. Starting to think you had gone out and bought a Ford or Chevy. : )

Installed new Toyota knuckle wiper seals I got from Onur @beno

And mounted the knuckles on the axle housing

A nice trick I learned from my friend Wayne @crushers, is to install two guide pins (studs with the same thread as the spindle bolts) to help position all the gaskets, spindle, dust shield, and seals without too much hassle on the knuckle assembly. It sure makes it easy.

David!

I do work on the truck on my evenings after I get out of work. It takes me months, too, and that's why you don't see me posting continuous progress hahaha.

What is on the works for Tencha and Marilu?

-Alberto

The Factory Jerry Can holder bracket came in two different colors (black or silver) depending on the body color of the truck.

Looking at some other Tan 70's with the Factory Jerry Can holder option, it seems that the hinges are body color, the bracket that goes bolted to the door is black, and everything else remains silver.
