Took the hinges and bracket to American Metal Cleaning http://www.americanmetalcleaning.us/ to get them to bare metal. American Metal Cleaning also powder coated the bracket black and I took the hinges to the paint shop to match the body color.

What is on the works for Tencha and Marilu?

last thing I did in Tencha was a prop valve looking for better braking performance ( still have too much clamping power in the rear ) and still need / want to do a t-case e brake ..

Marilu it's waiting space in the " to do list " for control arms bushing replacement .. ( you know never ending list )

I would not leave that can back there unless you travel with a large scary dog.

77110-60011, current published price, $333.09.

Yes, that is JUST the can.......

ummm, where is mine?

May be a result of my "clean living" but Alberto said mine was enroute and should be here in a day or so. Perhaps you should do some inner reflection. :)

Nice addition. looks great and solid

Hahaha...Charles is messing with you. I can ask Fernando @ferportu and see if they run across some other ones.

These came as Toyota Factory option in some limited edition FZJ71's in Venezuela (2006 or 2007 I believe) and are not very easy to find. They are locally referred as "Aniversario" or anniversary, only 300 made and they have a numbered badge on the glove box lid that reads as 001/300 and so.

These special edition ones were assembled in Japan (as oposed to being assembled at the Toyota plant in Venezuela) came with factory e-lockers (full-floater rear axle as opposed to the Dana 60 that they install in Venezuela), factory snorkel, factory Jerry can holder, an aftermarket Ramsey winch and front bumper (from the dealer).

Fernando @ferportu also sent me a little bracket to mount a worklight on the jerry can holder bracket that was custom made in Venezuela.

I mounted a Hella double work-lamp that will be controlled by a switch on the center dash panel (will get to do the wiring later).

As far as the license plate bracket, we couldn't find the correct one to go with the jerry can holder. It is very similar to the late 40 series, but not identical.

Top one would be the correct license plate bracket for the jerry can holder mount, bottom one is late 40 series:

I grabbed a late 40 series one, removed the stock mounting bracket and modified it a little bit to make it fit without having to drill/modify the jerry can mount. Also, bought new lights and light cover caps for it.
