hi everybody..
lemme introduce myself.. I'm Jahf residing in Oman..
i was in search of a Toyota land cruiser FJ40 for long time..

last day i found a FJ40 parked somewhere here and I contacted the person who is willing to sell it..

it is a 1982 model, hard top, 6cylinder, 2F petrol engine with power steering and A/C.. the vehicle is in running condition.. he is asking for OMR 1500.000 which is approx equal to $3900.00,
is it worth?

I'm expecting you guys suggestions and advices regarding this vehicle

regards

I think I'd pay that. I'd get a new cap for my clutch master cylinder :D and repaint the roof and bezel as Trollhole said.

Tomorrow i'm going for a test drive

hey.. Trollhole and Amaurer.. Thank you guys..

there are more pic's.. but I don't know why I'm not able to upload more than 3

by the by Tomorrow I'm going for a test drive.. I'll keep you informed..

regards

If you can get a closer pic of that snazzy door panel that would be great

3900 would seem to be a good price

good luck

Thank you Shreg..
Ya.. I have few more pic's with me.. but I don't know why I'm not able to upload more than 3.. can you help me out

regards

Put the original blinkers back on the guards too! (Does that LH front guard have a crack? Perhaps its fibreglass?)

But looks a good price to me and probably got far less rust than you'd find in a similar-priced cruiser here (although that flash metallic paint job is probably hiding a few things).

I think I'd buy it - if it was diesel. (But petrol is better for the dune driving where you are I guess).

Looks like a great deal to me also. Bought my 76'40 for $3900 in 05'.

...and it had no rear doors, or side doors....... or top :D

never looked back

and welcome to the Madness of MUD :flipoff2: ( official welcome sign of IH8MUD )

price in the US would be good, in Oman.my guess is you have alot of other 40's to pick from, while the one you show is not bad(repaint etc etc) depending on your wants/use you might want to find one that is more stock or not repainted(not wild about that color)

I like those fancy "Shaheen" (Falcon) tires. Must be made for the middle-eastern market.

It looks nice - factory power steering and everything..

Mashallah!
