I may be wrong, but I'm thinking that the floor switch is still available OEM.

I very well may be mistaken though.
 
Never mind, I can't find it on his website anywhere.

A quick Google search gives me 84140-59620 as the part number.

floor dimmers are long since DISC. / NLA

there are 100% COUTERFIET retro looking ones on EBAY , from all over it seams ?

so be careful there

all have 3 screws too , TOYOTA or TR company NEVER came with 3 screws :mad:

I used this Fuse Box & Cover from City Racer. The dimmer switch I drilled a little hole in the bottom and sprayed it with contact cleaner and worked it back and forth when it quite working.
 
Other than rusting solid, I've never seen a foot dimmer fail in any of my vintage vehicles. Is it advisable to get one just in case?
Mine would not switch, after spraying it with contact cleaner it works fine. Not worth rat holing that part to me.
 
The speedmarker detector is inline with speedo cable-has 2 wires at approx 10" away from speedo cable end (at TC) which then go to the relay (firewall) then to the VSV (vacuum switch valve)-drivers fender. Not part of TC but emissions/distributor retard function.
