Just noticed the hood, Will it have the "Spear"? Looks awesome no matter what.

Well- I keep thinking I’m close, and we’re getting there...... After working on the road for the past 3 weeks or so, I had a couple of days to finish up some minor details and truck along... finished the throttle cable, a slew of small items and installed the Con-Ferr seat. What’s left? Wiring it in two weeks, adjust brakes and clutch and I’m finished. It’s nice to see the end result getting close.

@Rock40 is working on my factory cut half doors and these will get shipped down to me, painted and installed at the resto shop. Then, she should be good to go. Finally, I’m looking at doing a factory roll bar with a bikini top just to shade me out here in California. :).

Thanks JP. I know you've followed it from the start. Thanks for all the likes and comments.

The finish line is readily in view now! And those empty <parts> shelves in the background are testament to this amazing build. I have saved a bunch of your’s and Ross’s pics of build progress as they will be very helpful for my build. Congrats! Paul

Well, I just spent about 2 hours reading through this entire thread. It's redundant from everyone, but extremely well done. Beautiful truck and excited for when you get to finally drive it!

While I thought the fan spacer you made for Jason was a one-Off, I bought a powertrain two weeks ago with what looks to be a production version of the spacer.

Interesting. If I recall, it was stamped "Flex-a-Lite USA" or something like that. I think Jason has another also

I followed this months ago and had fallen off lately. I just went and read through the entire thread from start to finish and it is amazing! The quality and originality of this restoration is as good as I’ve ever seen. And I really dig all the zinc plated hardware.

Thank you for the nice compliment. As I said earlier in the thread, @Rock40 was the mad scientist behind this, @65swb45, SOR and some other vendors helped a to and I pitched in with my project management & coordinating skills along with my OCD. Haha. Thanks again @40LandCruising.
