great work--looking like it rolled off the assembly line!!!

Last night, I finished installing the Speedo Cable, sealed up the transmission hump and installed the front seats. Had these done locally in Bakersfield and they came out great. New foam, rings, fasteners and a marine vinyl called “Rawhide Buckskin”.

Got it. Thank you. I’ll contact him again. I think he may be backed up. I was waiting to hear back. Thanks for info.

Really NICE work in your build!! Great pictures!!

Today, my Dad came over and saw the FJ40 for the first time. After some tears and talk with it, he and I worked on it together (which was super cool). We got the rear half doors, hardware, license plate frame and spare tire carrier and tire mounted.

Got the jack handles and crank handle mocked up for install. Those are ready. This thing is looking nicer and nicer everytime I get to it. Super happy how this project is turning out.

Absolutely amazing! That will be better than the day it rolled off the assembly line! Sounds like it will be more than ready for the April rally?

Wow, just gorgeous. Must be pretty satisfying putting your rig back together like this. I can't wait til I'm at this stage!

Trying my hardest @skidplate to make the Rally. Depends on how the next two weeks go.

Looking awesome!! What does your dad think of the progress?

He was really impressed. He and I didn’t think it would come together this nice. He is enjoying seeing the project for sure.
