I'm assuming a 76 series is narrow enough to navigate Gib's sketchy roads ok? I have had mine down some narrow paths but Gibraltar traffic scares the crap out of me
These Cruisers just come into port long enough to be prepped and modded before shipping out to aid projects in developing countries and conflict zones.

Someone has learnt to jump up onto the old Daihatsu... Couldn't find him one morning until I went out the front door and he decided to reveal his new hidey hole.

Relevant because it has a Toyota 12R and 1,000kg payload... It would slow but it would get there eventually.
Sweet puppy and Daihatsu pickup!

PS. Used to have a Daihatsu (F20) too!

And a trail shot from last year. He’s a good boy and a good copilot too. Decent trail manners. All he asks is for the window to be open.

For Christmas he got a gps collar fence/training/tracking system.

After work we went to the park for an hour and set up a new map, worked on boundaries and reactions to the collar tones. So far so good!

Cheers

The chihuahua (first pic) has been my best pal and defender since my strokes. The min-pin and English Bulldog have been pretty good too.

My dogs have been helping me with my LC addiction since day one.

It was my old dogs favourite thing ever. Minuets before we had her put down, she went for her last ride in the LC I could tell she she was at peace.

She was always at peace in the LC.

My good boy Max took his last ride in my 80 when we had to put him down earlier this year. Was a tough time, but great dog and memories.

4 months ago, when I took my new pup to the vet, my vet did an evaluation on my old dog, who I thought was 9 years old. She determined that my older dog was closer to 12 years old. Sucks to have your dog age 3 years in a moment. Then, last night, she had a hard time going down stairs for the first time.

****.

Next morning, she was fine on the stairs, but I can see the writing on the walls. This was why I haven't gotten a dog in 36 years. And to be fair, my prior dogs were all working animals, and this is my first real pet.

It's different, and I can't explain it. Lela has a grip on my heart no other animal has had.

I know the feeling. But the joy they bring is worth the pain that comes with it. It’s a shame they don’t stay with us longer.

Yes. It’s hard seeing dogs get old.

But to be Fair, they can ease into their old senile part of their life for a while.

We thought my dog was going to be gone soon enough, she ended up living another 6 months relatively comfortably.

Help them into their age, make it easy - lift them into the car, carry them up and down the stairs, do the things they enjoy. And enjoy every moment, and hold them close. Time goes by soon enough.
