Due to the large crowds, I couldn’t see the finish line so I don’t know what enticements awaited the dogs.
How far are you going?
The jumps ranged from 6’ to 24’ with a couple of dogs expressing no interest in jumping into that cold water (60,000 gallons).

My wife and I are setting out on a journey along Route 66 with our two dogs, Lela and Charley. I drug my rig, named Mavis, after my late mother, out of a backyard two years ago, got it running a year later, and have been daily driving it since then. I documented that process in this thread...

This trip has been good for these two. When we got Charley earlier this year, they merely tolerated each other. Since then, they'd graduated to frenemies.
Starting today, they've been twinning. Where one goes, the other one goes. And they've been voluntarily sharing sleeping spaces for the first time.
I'm pretty happy this has happened.
