Jolly Balls?
No. The ones we have are called, Virtually Indestructible, which is a joke. She can chew holes in them within about 10 min. We used to use the Jolly Balls like your boy has, but they went through those too fast.
I run out for an hour and come back to the house to find Millie like this. She buried herself behind the couch cushions for a little nap.

Hoping your pup gets better soon! Lots of love and positive reinforcement will hopefully help him get back to normal. His wound is better but he has completely shut down mentally.

He won’t leave his bed, found him this morning laying in his own urine. He is having spaz sessions where he will flail all over the place nearly hurting himself, almost like a seizure. He has got to wear the cone when I am not by his side or he won’t leave the wound alone. The “ballon” collar doesn’t stop him getting at the wound, it’s more just a reminder. He still hasn’t pooped since last Wednesday. Tried to walk him multiple times and it’s not happening at all.
He has to go to the vet again in an hour, not sure there is much they can do but going to try.
I know he will recover from the surgery but I am worried this is breaking his spirit and he won’t be the same dog again. Like I say he has completely shut down mentally.
Had I known this would played out this way I would not have gotten him nurtured. I was just getting real tired of the male dog piss every two feet on a walk and other male dog things when they are not neutered.
Cheers
Hoping he snaps out of the funk and gets back to normal. Something certainly isn't right with his system if he hasn't pooped for that long. His wound is better but he has completely shut down mentally.
